“The location is beautiful, the Chapel is very comfortable and clean, and just right for a service. I particularly liked the projection of my father's name above the bier. The staff were all so helpful and welcoming, and I was reassured from the moment I arrived that the service would go well, and it did. The only issue we had was that my mother is in a wheelchair now and there was no ramp to facilitate us getting her into the waiting room ... luckily the weather was fine but it would have been a problem if it had been raining. Please can a ramp or step-free access be provided for that building?”

“Very well kept area. Plenty of space. Fixtures and fittings clean and tidy. One poor point was camera alignment. Only 9 people at service, but not all in view. Disappointing for those watching online.”

“The crematoria. itself is lovely but I found the parking very distressing as people leaving from the previous service or attending the one after my mothers were dotted about everywhere and after my mothers service I felt very rushed to leave. I know you are very busy but the service Is saying a final farewell to a precious relative. I was ushered quickly to to the flower park before Thanking the Rev or the attenees. Perhaps an extra 5 mins would help with this.”

“Very comfortable, pleasant surroundings. Might be good to have a sheltered area to wait outside away from the cold wind and weather in winter, whilst waiting for family and hearse to arrive.”

“Nice setting and quality of seats, decor, facilities etc. Negative point would be you are booking services too close together, 1 hour apart means it is very busy before and after with parking difficulties and hassle mourners shouldn’t have to experience. Some clear space before and after would be more respectful to all involved”

“It’s a great shame that you don’t have a waiting room where we could have sought refuge from the bitterly cold January wind. For some strange reason, the audio volume didn’t seem loud enough. I don’t know whether it had anything to do with where we were sitting ( front left). The volume of the entry music seemed fine but all the talking could have been louder and I struggled to hear the backing track for the 2nd hymn. I don’t like loud music or amplification and have struggled at another crematorium with music that was too loud so these are quite unusual comments for me to be making. Otherwise, everything was fine. The seating is spacious and comfortable and the surroundings very pleasant.”

“Very nice intimate venue. However it was freezing cold and gale force winds and we were unable to wait anywhere inside before our service. If this was to be addressed it would definitely be a 5*. We only had communication with our funeral directors and not directly with Memoria”

“The facilities are lovely, the chapel bright and everything really calm and peaceful. The only thing is when the coffin descends at the commital - that is absolutely heartbreaking. Can you please have curtains like at Daldowie?”

“The service was very peaceful and went well apart from the lighter for the candle didn't work. Perhaps check this works before the service for continuity. Also, it would be nice to have either a covered space or a room to say goodbye to guests after the service on exiting.”

“Really lovely location and facilities. My only comment was that it was a really cold day. Upon exiting the chapel into the covered area it was quite uncomfortable and cold due to the wind coming through under the bottom of the side screens - I guess a Covid measure.”
