Carol good evening and thank you for taking the time to leave a review for our Memoria team at Kirkleatham. We take all reviews good and bad very seriously and when there is an issue as there clearly was here, we investigate extensively.
For the service you attended, the Funeral Director on the day provided the celebrant who was in total control of the media delivery for the service and chose to omit the final piece of music, possibly as a result of time constraints? You may wish to discuss with the funeral director further we would be happy to provide you with their details. Sincerely
“I was extremely disappointed to see that of the 2 photographs we submitted for digital display on the wall- one of them was of a complete stranger! This was upsetting and embarrassing. Although put right by yourselves after prompting and apologies were given - it shouldn’t have happened.”
“The service for my brother for which we had done so much preparation was marred because the speakers were not working. Because of the COVID restrictions we had carefully chosen those who could attend the funeral and we were mortified to learn afterwards that 40% of the guests could not hear anything and felt excluded.
The occasion cannot be repeated but we feel a contribution to my brother’s chosen charity would be appropriate.”
