“Ordered a custom-measured loft hatch which came sooner than expected and it was well-packed and secure. On my part, I had to make a small adjustment to the opening. Overall it fits perfectly and I am pleased with the standard of this loft hatch and would recommend to friends and family if required.”

“Old drafty wooden uninsulated loft hatvh well overdue to get replaced. Awkward size and found jupiter blue online. Rang them up gave them the dimensions and an insulated double single lock loft hatch came to me. Did take about 10 days from ordering to deliver to Northern Ireland. Arrived and well made with metal frame. Quite heavy and tricky to install mainly as i balanced on top of a chair whilst my wife held on from the loft for dear life. Plenty of fix points about 10 screws , easy to install minus the weight and sitting flush against the ceiling .”

“Basically a good hatch. Heavier than expected to operate. Easy to install. Locking pole is useless if not dangerous particularly so for not so strong person trying to operate hatch from floor.”

“Second hatch we have purchased from them. While their is pain of absorbing the cost of a custom sized hatch, the actual quality of the hatch is top notch. Fitted perfectly and was very simple to install. This is a 2 person install as it's quite fiddly, but as mentioned we have fitted two in the house now and each one took about 20 mins tops which included removing the old wooden hatch and stops. Recommended!”

The goods were ordered and delivered within the promised lead time and fitted like a glove into a bespoke cut-out. The goods were also very well packaged and protected. “I was a bit sceptical as I’d never heard of Jupiter Blue and neither had anyone I’ve spoken with, however I have NO complaints. My item arrived within a few days and is as described, seems a decent quality for the price and simple to fit in about 5 minutes.”

“I am very pleased with the product. The only reason for 4 stars is that when asked if there was any tolerance on the dimensions of the hatch a company spokesman said no, the sizes would be as given. My hatch is several millimetres smaller, which suited my installation to perfection!”

“Good : 1. Website information and ordering process; 2. swift delivery; 3. overall quality of product. Not good: 4. Upon opening the delivered package one corner of the 25 mm wide flange was found to be bent up by something like 30 degrees. Packaging not obviously damaged. Managed to unbend it to an acceptable extent as needed to fit the hatch then and there. Otherwise would have returned it. 5. Plastic key for budget lock works just fine but doesn't give same perception of quality as the metal hatch. 6. The exposed surface of the glass fibre (?) insulation is friable. It would be better if it had a facing as it is easy to rub against the exposed surface when going up into the attic.”

“Our new loft hatch arrived extremely well packaged and looked great. The quality was excellent and it literally took 10 minutes to fit. We couldn't be happier. We'd put off replacing our old sagging loft hatch as we thought it'd be a nightmare due to having an odd sized opening to the loft. We couldn't have been more wrong. You deserve your 5 stars.”
