The catalogue of products was easy to navigate with plenty of information. It took me a while to get to the checkout because I did not realise the little basket at the top of the page would get me there. The delivery was fine.

The products are great - but the plastic liner in the large boxes of suet pellets is still woefully inadequate. The quality used to be much better. Although it is said that the new liners are being used for recycling reasons, this seems disingenuous as I'm sure the previous quality would be equally recyclable. Keeping the product in the box is not viable, as this attracts rats. Such hard work to transfer them.. the liner/bags split almost immediately. It's making me think twice about ordering again.

We state on our website that the liner is to protect the box from suet leaking onto to it, it is not a carry sack and should not be pulled out of the box.

Very efficient ordering and delivery service however not for the first time one of the seed packages had split and all the contents were deposited in the box.

I rang your office and spoke to a helpful lady, who advised me as to why I was unable to use my tablet to reorder, as I had done in past. Due to an update on your end, I am no longer able to book online, which I prefer. Later put my order over the phone, and again spoke to a helpful lady.

Great product, fast delivery, small problem with damage to one of the boxes and contents just in a plastic bag, it was lucky that was still intact, a more substantial inner container would have been better.

I like the small pieces of suet but with later deliveries there seems to be more and more dust, which is a nuisance

I have a long history of purchasing from St Ivel and have never needed to question the quality of their product. More than once, however, I have received damaged outer packaging and I am disappointed with the method of containing suet pellets in a very thin plastic bag that is not robust enough to be lifted out of the cardboard box without the risk of splitting.

Thank you for your comments, however we do state on the pellet page that the liner is to protect the box, it is not a carry sack and should not be pulled out of the box.

I have had difficulty in purchasing suet balls that my birds will eat. I did a bit of exploring the internet and found Ivel Valley wild bird food. My birds, blue tits and long-tailed tits mostly, love them.

Excellent service, as always. I just think there are slightly more pin oats in the mix which our small birds (mainly tits and sparrows) tend to leave.

The bird food was well packaged but unfortunately one of the packets of suet was split and had spilled out into inside of the box

Birds seem happy and your bags are less inclined to burst than they were when first you switched to paper bags.

I emailed after the delivery to let you know that two of the bags had burst in the box. Nothing lost but you might want to review the seals on your bags. Thanks for the ‘seed trees’, the birds love them.

Quick delivery, well packed and good-looking bird seed at a below-average price. Initial issue with order so 4* but quickly sorted with no fuss. Will use again.
