Heritage Caged Ground Feeder SKU: H040615 The bars are too small to allow any of the small birds (sparrows, finches, robins) to get in to eat the seed/ suet etc. I watched for 2 days (not 8 hours a day admittedly) without success. All the food was exactly as I'd placed it. I asked for a refund and was basically told NO. Took 3 days to reply to my email. Don't know what their other services are like but customer service is extremely poor.

You unfortunatley sent your original email to an inbox that is not monitored regularly, so this was why it took a few days to reply, we apologise for this. As we explained in the email response, it can take birds time to get used to a new feeder (4-6 weeks sometimes), and this is probably why they were wary. The bars are not too small to let the small birds in, as we showed you in the video that was attached to the response email. We are sorry you are unhappy with the feeder, but as the feeder is not faulty, and has been used, this is why you would not eligible for a refund.

A very pleasant lady took my order, but the action or lack of it by the courier upset me greatly. I am elderly with an arthritic spine so l was going to ask the courier to leave the package by the back door. The first l knew of the delivery was when l was leaving the house to visit a member of my family. The package weighed approx 60lbs & was way beyond my ability to lift. I had to get a young neighbour to carry it to the storage area at the rear of my house. I’m afraid l won’t be able to use you in future if you don’t knock on my door when you deliver. Jack O’Neill

We do not have our own courier service, but we use DPD. The courier has a responsibility to leave the parcel on your property, which they have done so. They should however, have knocked at your door to advise that they have left it on your property, so I will feed this back to them. We do pack our seeds in smaller more manageable bags, so it may be worth looking to purchase these, if you are having problems moving the heavy boxes.

I had a problem with my delivery.There were two different delivery men .The first did not ring my bell so I had no idea it had arrived.The second delivery was a heavy sack and again they did not ring my doorbell and it was two heavy for me to lift from my door step.

On the positive side ordering was simple and delivery fast and efficient. Unfortunately the live mealworms were in very poor condition. Some already dead, others dark brown, and a number of beetles were already running around .

I am sorry to hear that the live mealworms were not up to standard. As these come direct from our supplier, we do not know what state they are deliveredin. In the future, please always email us to let us know of any issues with a delivery, and we will be more than happy to rectify this.

I am sorry that your mealworms have not arrived yet. As these come direct from our supplier, I have been in touch with them, and they have arranged for these to be resent today. Unfortunately you emailed an address that is not monitored, so I have only just found your email this morning and replied.

Your bird food is great your delivery service is rubbish. If can’t be bothered to deliver to my caravan like your first delivery driver. My caravan is 30 seconds from reception I’m disabled and can’t get from reception. Back to Tesco unfortunately. Chris Olsen.

Sorry, had to cancel order as delivery guy was not willing to leave order on doorstep. When I spoke to customer services she cancelled my order straight away. No questions asked no apology or asked what they could do to make things better. I won't be ordering from you ever again

I am sorry that you feel that the customer service you received was not positive, however DPD tried to deliver the parcel on more than one occasion, and you were not in to receive it. Upon checking the DPD system we could not see that any safe place instructions were left for DPD, unfortunately if there are no instructions, DPD are unable to leave parcels without handing to the recipient.When our customer service team called you to advise this, they explained that the parcel would automatically be returned back to us, as DPD will only attempt delivery twice, but we will send you a new parcel and asked what day you would be in to receive it.As per your request to cancel the order, customer service advised that they would process your return as soon as the parcel had been received by us.  I do feel that customer service tried to rectify the situation.Please do feel free to contact our customer service team if you would like to discuss this further. I have been a customer for a long time twice I have not received what I ordered . One time I ordered sunflower hearts and peanuts ,what I received was many bags of nuts and a small amount of Sunflower hearts. The next order I received a large bag of pecker seed and no sunflower seeds. This is not something I can return as it is very heavy . In the pass I have always been happy with my purchases something has gone wrong at the orderes .I have ordered from another company.

While the product is fine the buying experience has been a nightmare. The courier failed to find us on three delivery days (failing to get within half a mile of us), and then claimed I had requested the delivery be delayed a further day (untrue). I contacted Ivel to see if they could do anything and they promised to re-dispatch that day or the next (Thursday). On Friday it was dispatched. This time they managed to deliver but, despite me telling the driver we were away, our safe place instructions were ignored and the product and the parcel was left in the rain.

Ivel Valley is perfectly OK. Our birds love the food that is delivered. It is the delivery team who leaves a lot to be desired. We leave our porch open with clear instructions that any package should be left inside the porch. This package was not even left outside the porch. Not even on the property. It was left outside the gate on the road. This is clearly not good enough, as anybody could have picked up the goods and left the scene. Sorry Ivel, change your delivery group.

This peanut feeder is described as. “ made of light, strong and corrosion resistant aluminium “ , this is the reason why it was purchased. The hanging loop at the top appears to be made of stainless steel , it’s non magnetic so it’s fine. The outer cage is magnetic so it’s steel with a painted finish. The inner cage again is made from steel. The top dome, the perches and the small bottom dome are non magnetic so would appear to be the only aluminium parts of the feeder. The large bottom dome is again magnetic and is probably made of steel and as it is spot welded to the outer cage will be liable to corrosion in a very short period of time. Spot welds without plastic coating or very heavy coats of paint are particularly prone to corrosion. Disappointed with the product.

Not at all impressed with this company. The girl on the phone did not let me get a word in edge ways when I tried to talk to her she was like a run a way train. The shipping and v. a. p was far to dear and they did not let me know I'll after they took the money. Would not accept a return because I missed the courier. Will not be using this company again

I don't think these people want my order !!!. I've spent over an hour trying to buy sunflower hearts and fat balls, it's not as if I've never bought on line before. The first thing is it doesn't recognise my password, despite it being accepted 20 secs earlier. Looks likes it's back to Amazon. I'm assuming I can post this , but not confident !!!!!!!!

This package was never delivered to this house. It apparently was delivered to a house nearby and was to be re-delivered to this address, according to your telephone rep. This did not happen, and I'm still waiting. Not very satisfactory, although the local authority signage does not distinguish between the Clachan and surrounding roads very clearly.

Please do your research properly. Dried Calci worms are really terrible for Hedgehogs. If you want well informed advice please see https://hedgehogcabin.info/ who knows everything there is to know about Hedgehogs. She says: "Please never give calciworms to hedgehogs. It's a con, a very dangerous one: calcium overdose is almost as bad as the deficiency mealworms cause. Please feed cat/dog food only. Dry kitten food is perfect; safe nourishment and is what all good rescues feed their hedgehog patients."

Accidentally ordered wrong fat balls.Opened box paid almost £25.00.Put couple out for birds they do not eat them.I phoned you and was very disappointed to hear I could not return or even exchange.Assistant I spoke to was very abrupt.Because of this I will never order from you again.I have been shopping with you for past 2years.I will never recommend you to anyone and would give very bad reviews.I did expect you to be more understanding.Sandra.
