About IQ Mobile Ltd:

Thank you for your interest in IQ Mobile. IQ Mobile is the Intelligent Mobile Network focused on providing good value SIM only deals on the UK's largest and fasted 4G network.

IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“Customer service was perfect when I had a wee problem on set up. Literally the only thing I can fault is that when trying to see how much data has been used there's only a text option. I'm using a router so cant see the text (haven't brought a laptop and to be honest it would be awkward because of the motorhome routers location) Smarty offers an email option too, so I can see my data usage when using the router.”

“After an initial problem with my mifi (that IQ helped me sort out) the sim only card worked exceptionally well on my Motorhome trip to Italy and Croatia. I was always able to get Prime and bbc iPlayer to play well on the tv and for google and Apple Maps. I would strongly recommend. Far better than buying local cards as this worked in all countries I visited.”

“So far my experience is good. The IQ Go SIM worked as soon as I installed it in my mobile router. I had a couple of questions about data roaming and these were answered quickly and efficiently via WhatsApp. I'll be testing the SIM in Scotland and France..... let's see how it performs during those trips. That will decide whether or not I stick with ID Mobile.”

“I have been very pleasantly surprised by IQ Mobile's service. Having had contracts over the years with most of the service providers, I have come to expect poor service and difficulty in getting queries answered. Not so with IQ! I hadn't heard of IQ prior to my transfer and was a little concerned about whether the company was legit but I needn't have worried. The whole process of transferring to IQ was well explained, my queries answered promptly and clearly by email and I feel like I am receiving a personal service. I am VERY happy and have already recommended them to others.”

“We travelled to Norway and Sweden with an Iq mobile data sim. Initially we had no Internet at all but Iq mobile customer support sorted the problem and we had data to mid Sweden. Thereafter the local networks only offered 2g service through Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany. Everywhere we went we had 4g or 5g service on our personal phones. There is not much point in a data sim if the local operators do not provide a 3g or 4g connection as 2g is simply a waste of time.”

“Just purchased an IQ sim. Easy purchase and easy to use my PAC code to change my mobile number over. The coverage seems OK but not great so far however it's early days so I need to test it out in a few more locations. Used the chat function alone thr website and they were pretty responsive although didn't manage to totally answer my question so I'd say they are OK and not terrible like some of their competition!”
