“I only bought an ashpan, so not a huge investment, but the product was well priced and looks to be well made / good quality. It's new, of course, but I've no reason to believe it won't last for many years. There was a hiccup with delivery - it seems my order was lost in the Royal Mail strike - but when I made Grate aware of this, just for their information really, they promptly sent a replacement which was service beyond my expectation and actually unique as far as I am concerned. DPD delivered the replacement the following day!”

“Placed an order 6th December and paid for quick delivery but it had not been dispatched until 20th December, I then received a message from the delivery company to say it would not be delivered until after Christmas. I tried 5 times to call them and it went to voicemail, I left a message every time with the order number and my mobile number but no one responded, then after sending an email they finally despatched it... I am very disappointed about the way this has been dealt with no one calling me to explain why they held onto my order for 3 weeks before dispatching it.”

“Had to buy an oversized grate and cut it to size myself to save delivery time Which wasn't a problem but noticed the grate wasn't made with an accurate 90 degree bend It doesn't notice now in place but I did check the angle and found it out of square.”

“Product wasn't cheap but it was bespoke and made to our personal specification. Our fireplace is old and no way we were going to find a replacement easily so happy. Quality great. Solid and fits well. Will last many years. Thanks.”

“I brought a new ash pan for my Rayburn. It’s very sturdy, good price. Delivery not so good because of postal strike, should have taken couple of days instead took over a fortnight. I would still use this company again.”

“I searched high and low to find tiles for our fire surround. It seemed that bullnose or curved-edge tiles are hard to find these days until I found what I was looking for at GRATE FIREPLACE ACCESSORIES. The consignment of tiles was badly damaged by the couriers, but I spoke to an extremely apologetic member of staff and an entirely new order was dispatched immediately without question. Excellent product and excellent customer service. The Basalt Ebony Black Hearth Tiles look fantastic.”
