“Purchased a grate and gridle and some how thay managed to send the wrong size gridle.asked for the right size gridle told the wrong one tthay sent must be returned first great customer relations guess I have no heating over Christmas and new year because of there fault.”

“The first time I called your business and told the sales person what I required, I was told she would speak to the store person and get back to me. I waited 3 weeks. Phoned again went through the details again, I was told what I needed was on order and I would receive it in about 2 weeks. To make sure that they sent the correct size if blanking plate I sent photos and size of what I wanted. After 2 weeks I phoned. I was told someone would phone me back and I’m still waiting. Not good business practice not phoning back when they said they would”

“Delivery was efficient and the glass was all correct but the fire bricks was advertised for the wrong fire and only Way to Resolve was for me to pay postage to return at my expense”

“Disappointed with my order from Grate fireplace. Placed the order 16 days ago and still not recieved my order. Got an email to say their warehouse have received my stove glass but it has arrived the wrong size. Guess I will have to wait another 2 weeks to receive my glass now. Poor show.”

“Delivery: I was told after I ordered on a Thursday, that it would take 3 working days. I would be at home then so I calculated that it would arrive on Weds. I also asked if it was made of cast iron - I was told yes. The item was delivered 2 days after ordering and I was not there to receive it - the DPD driver just left it, in plain sight, on the doorstep despite a message posted on my front door telling him to deliver it to another house. I even put on the DPD website instructions to leave it at no. 23. I was very lucky that it was not stolen; thankfully a vigilant neighbour saw it and took it in for me. The item was not cast iron but lightweight steel. I will not order from this company again.”

“Disappointed that only got One fire brick when thought I was buying a pack of three. Called….’all agents busy’ as always and emailed but no reply. Waiting for a return label before I leave review.”

“The 20mm stove rope supplied was ordered as 2 meters. When the rope is fitted to door channel it collapses down and therefore does not seal the door. To provide any sort of seal the rope needs to be compressed in length to increase diameter to a be closer to 20mm. This reduced the length to under 2 meters. Unless the rope is fully relaxed when cut the diameter is below the 20mm and length is unpredictable. I found it necessary to buy rope from another supplier. This rope is much firmer and closer to 20mm.”

“ordered and paid for 11th Dec 22 on the 20th Dec nothing heard or received couldn't get reply on phone so emailed to be told it would be dispatched in next few days still not got the stove glass or been updated re my order will give it to new year then open a case through paypal”

“I placed the order on the 22nd of November, 1 item was not available (some tongs) and I emailed to say please send the fire grate and other items that were in stock. I received no reply. I was emailed on the 1st of December to say the items had been dispatched and I received the items on the 8th of December. Pretty poor service all round really when we really needed the fire burning...”
