Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. Don‘t be the trend make your own. Mix it your way to create a shade to match your style. Our range has expanded to 41 colors over the years and each decade gathers new fans. They continue to inspire us and remind us that hair color has no limits.

“The crazy colour hair dye was recommended by a hairdresser, who had used it herself. I had only heard good things about it so thought I would try it myself as I like to change hair colours often. The dye is vibrant, the colour picked up very well. It was easy to use, i will definitely be using it again”

“I first used crazy colour in 1978 as a 17 year old punk rocker. I saw an advert for it recently and it brought back happy memories, so I ordered some. I wasn’t disappointed. Great products in easy to use packaging that give great results. I’m bald these days, but I now sport a multicoloured beard. Excellent product, highly recommended”

“The uv green is absolutely amazing! I just wish there was a uv blue. I have recommended this to a whole lot of people :) I used it for Halloween and everyone thought it was a wig it looked soo good :)”

“I have a blonde balayage, admittedly not of the lightest, whitest blonde but it certainly reflects the medium blonde before image used by crazy colours. So while I didn't expect light grey hair from using the graphite dye, I did expect to see SOME difference after using this product. I bought two bottles plus a bowl and brush which including shipping cost me nearly £18 and there were ZERO results. The dye is very light grey and does not seem to be very pigmented at all. Turned out to be a very expensive and time consuming conditioning treatment.”

“Smells really nice but I struggle to get that ‘clean hair’ feel from it. I have quite oily hair and I feel like this makes my hair feel worse and after washing it still feels oily. The colour is lasting longer though which is good.”

Hi, thank you for your review we really appreciate it! Our Pink Shampoo does not lather like some others due to it being salt and sulphate-free. The Anti Bleed Spray should be applied immediately after hair colour is rinsed out of the hair. Then spray evenly over freshly rinsed hair, leave for 1 minute, and rinse out of the hair. Information on how to apply each of our products is available on the website.

“Ordered the same colour I always have (red) and a different dye was in the bottle!! When wet it looked red but has come out purple! So annoyed and don’t feel comfortable at all. Please respond to the complaint I’ve already made as soon as possible!”

“Very disappointed with this product as it simply did not work as it should. Bought the black to colour my light brown hair for a party and having followed the instructions exactly my hair only resulted in being a tiny bit darker! It was nowhere near black. Poor product.”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry that you have had a negative experience dying your hair. We do recommend lightening hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying, to achieve the best result. However, there may have been no colour pay off for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous colours remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. If you have any more questions regarding the application and your result, please contact our customer service team.
