About Crazy Color:

Crazy Color® was launched in 1977 in the midst of the punk rock explosion in Britain. In a time that anarchy and free expression ruled supreme, one hairstylist was growing tired of the same natural color palette. Renato Brunas was at the height of his hairdressing career and was set to push the boundaries of color even further when he developed a new range of rainbow shades. Thus Crazy Color® was born and over 40 years later our ethos is the same, we want you to express yourself unapologetically. In every iconic pink bottle is a color that is ready to turn heads. Don‘t be the trend make your own. Mix it your way to create a shade to match your style. Our range has expanded to 41 colors over the years and each decade gathers new fans. They continue to inspire us and remind us that hair color has no limits.

“Ordered the same colour I always have (red) and a different dye was in the bottle!! When wet it looked red but has come out purple! So annoyed and don’t feel comfortable at all. Please respond to the complaint I’ve already made as soon as possible!”

“Very disappointed with this product as it simply did not work as it should. Bought the black to colour my light brown hair for a party and having followed the instructions exactly my hair only resulted in being a tiny bit darker! It was nowhere near black. Poor product.”

Hi, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry that you have had a negative experience dying your hair. We do recommend lightening hair to level 9 or 10 (blonde) before applying, to achieve the best result. However, there may have been no colour pay off for a number of factors such as; if any of the previous colours remained in the hair, condition, porosity, etc. If you have any more questions regarding the application and your result, please contact our customer service team.

Hi Ceri, thank you for the review; we really appreciate it. Sorry, to hear that you have had a negative experience with the longevity of our product. Our hair color with the correct aftercare should last up to 8-12 washes. Some of our recommended aftercare tips are to not wash your hair for 48hrs after dying. Use a good shampoo and conditioner when you do that's kind to color (such as our own). However, there is more information available on our website.

“Amazing as always, the colours are always so vivid and long lasting! I’ve used several colours and never had an issue, always so beautiful and I never need more than 2 bottles which is brilliant, I have long thick curly hair and used to box dye my hair and it’d always take 4 boxes to cover my hair completely, crazy colour is the best brand ever”

“Order came faily quickly, though the actal colour of the hot purple i got was not the best. I had my hair fully bleached up to a bright blonde. And left in the colour for an extra amount of time and ended up with sort of browns, pinks and some purple. Not the bright purple on the images which I wanted.”
