About The Cigar Club:

Hi, my name is Paul and I’ve been in the cigar trade now for over 25 years (where does the time go?).

The Cigar Club was originally started by my father in the late 1960s, so fine tobacco doesn’t quite run in the family veins but very nearly.

We’ve been sending out cigars around the world since those days of distant memory i.e. before the dawn of the computer age. However, I know that our website offers a unique and pleasurable shopping experience.

I’ve always tried to keep the personal feel to all our transactions and like to think that the personal touch gives the The Cigar Club a unique place in the Cigar World.

“This is my first order with The Cigar Club. I have not smoked any of the cigars yet but generally the impression is good. However there are a couple of points where I think improvements could be made. Having purchased a box of 10 Montecristo No. 4 they arrived on time and The Cigar Club accommodated my change of delivery address request promptly. I was not aware that all boxes of Havana cigars are opened by the importer for quality checks. I had expected to receive a sealed box so I think it would be good to make sure customers are aware that this is standard practice. My main gripe was that the box was very tatty and damaged. It had been opened without care and the overall impression it created was disappointing considering how much Havana cigars cost. It's like taking delivery of a new Ferrari that is dirty and has not been prepared for the customer. Perhaps The Cigar Club could raise this with their importers and ask them to be more aware of the importance of presentation. The Cigars look good and I'm looking forward to enjoying them so, overall, quite happy with the service.”
