“Bought a pair of boots same size as a previous model ive been wearing. After finding out that they are actually smaller (indoors), I've decided to return them, only to receive a message that they wont accept them back.”

“Excellent boots - this is my second pair having walked the soles (heel) out of the first on too many paved routes or maybe the volcanic lava fields on mount Etna. Soles are quite soft rubber giving comfort over durability maybe? They have survived many a soaking with no sign of any joints failing. My feet measured 1/2 size difference at Cotswold Outdoor and the 10 1/2 are very comfortable.”

“On my 5th pair of boots, love them. Pick up worked well, though ordering was difficult (dont live in the UK so had to send to random address then redirect to DPD, shipping times not clear and needed a couple of emails to work it all out)”

“I have a pair of renegade evo walking boots. Most comfortable walking boots I’ve ever had. I’ve used neatsfoot oil (usually for saddles) on the leather which has kept them beautifully supple and crack free. Would now like a pair of the walking shoes for summer :-)”

“I purchased my Randir GTX to replace a pair of Mammut. I have previously owned Lowa boots. The Randir GTX were a perfect fit and have required no settling in. They are an absolutly exceptional pair of boots. Superb padding at top of ankle to prevent rubbing around lower leg but still being supportive. I took advantage of a sale at Lowa UK and the boots were delivered within the time scale. Would I buy Lowa again? Yes, and strongly recommend buying them from lowa”

“I spent a long amount of time scouring the internet/asking friends on advice on what hiking boots would be a good choice for the types of adventures I go on and even after a few trips to a few stores to try on a selection; I ended up choosing the Lowa Renegade Evos. The combination of nubuck and goretex seemed like the best chance I had at keeping my feet dry in long grass and wet terrain and I also really liked the styling. So many hiking boots just look like dad boots or plain but the Lowas have that edge to them that look really nice. I know when you’re up a mountain, it doesn’t matter but it’s just a nice little extra. I have pretty wide feet but even the regular size boot fit my foot just fine and felt exceptionally comfortable. I bought a pair directly from the website and the delivery was so quick. I think I put them on for 25 minutes around the house but that was it. This is where it gets good; I went for a 6 1/2 hour hike up Moel Siabod for their first trial. I genuinely experienced no discomfort at all for the whole thing and despite the vibram sole being a bit slippy on wet rock, they held their own for the whole walk/hike/scramble that followed. Only at the 5 hour point did I notice that one of my feet felt colder than the other and after we got back to the car; I took them off to find that one sock was a little damp in places. I emailed Lowa that night and after some back and forth sending photos/having them tested by them, they found a slight leak in the gore-tex and have sent me another pair, no issues. I’ll be honest when I say that when I have a pair without a fault, I believe they’ll be bomb proof for any adventure I throw at them but aside from that, the customer service has been phenomenal and I’m genuinely happy to support a company that seem to care about their consumers. I dont think ill need to, for many many moons, but ill definitely be buying another pair from Lowa if I need to.”

“These boots are the best fit walking boots I've ever tried! I have long narrow feet which previously meant wearing boots with several pairs of socks and fastening them extremely tightly around the ankles to make them wearable. With these boots I am comfortable walking for miles.”
