“When you live with a health condition which restricts your ability to leave the home much, fairy lights add that extra sparkle all year around. I have several Cable and Cotton lights in my home plus have bought friends sets. What a Lovely Company! The only thing I would like is, if they could create a service where you can add a personal note to your friends. You won't regret buying from this Gorgeous company who are genuinely Lovely people.”

“The lights are beautiful! They did arrive with a surprise duty fee though, which pushed their price up a little higher than I expected, it would have been nice to have a little reminder somewhere when I was making the purchase. The lights were in good condition and pretty easy to put together, but all the balls in one of the colours had a slit that was too short, so I had to cut it a bit longer in order to get the light in. Overall, very nice lights and I like that I can run them off a battery pack so my kid doesn't play with the electrical socket (he loves to try to plug things in).”

Dear Alanna, Thank you for taking the time to post - it is most unusual for a duty fee to be applied on our light sets to the USA which is why our US website does not have any available info regarding this. I will be looking into this further and will of course update you accordingly as soon as I can. The cotton balls are a handmade product with hand-cut slits in them; occasionally the splits come up a little smaller than the discs which is when a slight snip is needed to make them bigger. I do hope this was an easy process for you? It does take a bit of practice! I really hope you are now able to enjoy your lovely light-set and will of course get back to you asap re the duty fee. “I LOVE my new lights!! I LOVE that I could go online and choose my own colours and see how they may look (playing about with that is actually a bit addictive!!). I LOVE that the website was clear and easy and straightforward. I LOVE that it was easy to pop the cotton ball shades onto the bulbs. I LOVE that I can choose a new set of shades if I fancy a change of colour in the future. I LOVE that gift vouchers are available (so I could make a birthday "suggestion"!). Thanks Cable and Cotton!!!”

“Colours are great and perfect for our conservatory. We did have to snip a few of the balls in order to place the LED inside as one of the shades had no precut line at all. This was easily done and with no damage. I will be buying some more in different hues for another room.”
