“My recent purchase from you was a Sony 6300 CSC with the kit lens. My overall satisfaction rating associated with my purchasing experience was good, although I felt that the assistant could have been a little more pro-active when responding to my technical queries. There were a couple of blank responses to some of my concerns. However, in spite of the above caveats, I am very satisfied with my purchase and I am looking forward to mastering the full range of the camera's features. Kevin Webster”

“I already had an idea of what I wanted to purchase so it was quite an easy sale for the young heavily pregnant sales assistant that helped me. She was very helpful and ran around the shop floor getting various lenses so I could try them on my camera. After trying 4 or 5 lenses I opted for my original choice and within 5 minutes and £500+ the sale was finalised with very little pain and me being a very happy boy!”

“The personnel in my local Wilkinson cameras always act in a professional manner, and provide a great service. Prices are always competitive too. My only slight negative would be when a part exchange is involved, when sometimes the price offered for your equipment is on the verge of insulting.”

“Two purchases made during my visit to the excellent Digital Splash event in Liverpool, Olympus OM-D E-M5 II body and Tenba camera bag. Unfortunately both items not in stock at the show but delivered to my home within a short time. Excellent all round service and benefited from great discounts. Camera is a step up from my E-M10, much prefer the tilt screen on the 10 to the new fully articulate one on the 5, but I like the 5 axis stabilisation and the many user setup buttons etc. Altogether a worthwhile addition to my Olympus family which consists of two bodies and four lenses all of which fit in my new Tenba Messenger 10 bag.”

“I bought an LED Luxpad 22 at "Digital Splash" from Wilkinsons, unfortunately the battery pack for it was not available at the time of purchase. However; I ordered the battery pack whilst making in the purchase and it was delivered less than 5 days after the show (Saturday). Wilkinsons, I believe, have a reliable reputation for following up on purchases and sales and it is always a pleasure doing business with them, either face to face, or over the internet.”

“I came to the Wilkinson's Splash exhibition in Liverpool and bought a Pentax lens and several other bits and pieces, benefitting from the show offers . The experienced and knowledgeable staff were great. My lens was not inn stock but it arrived by courier on the specified date and, to repeat, I cannot fault the people that I dealt with from Wilkinsons. Only slight quibble was the length of time it took in the queue to be served at the exhibition! I think it was a question of being overcome by success, but it would be worth trying to devise a better way of dealing with the queues to earn an extra star from me!”

“As always I find Wilkinson's staff in Liverpool Lord St branch helpful, curteous and above all knowledgeable. I have made various purchases from the branch totalling well over £10k over the few years the store has been there on Lord St & at all times your team have helpfully guided me through various options I have been considering or have been willing to supply me with their recommendations through use & familiarity with their own personal equipment. I have in the past recommended your store to friends mainly on the basis of the knowledable & helpful staff.”

“Over the past two or three years I have bought three cameras from Wilkinsons, one on behalf of a friend in India. I have purchased both directly from the Bury shop and latterly using telephone/internet to the Preston shop. I have always been well treated by the Wilkinsons staff. I am very pleased with my latest recent purchase which was a Canon 760D body. I expect to use, for most of the time, The 760D body with a Tamron 18-270mm lens earlier purchased from Bury. I am still working through the many additional features available on this camera. I should be well organised by 2017. ----- Tony”
