I first went into your Liverpool shop to look at the LUMIX TZ100 where I had to interrupt the sales staffs idle chit chat to get someone to talk to me about the camera, then when I had decided that I really needed another camera the shop was closed so I bought it on line with the matching case, spare battery and SD card and I got a email back saying that my camera would be with me in a number of days, then the following day I got another message saying could I contact Paul at Preston where he informed me that through poor stock taking that my black and red case was not in stock but they had a black one, I asked him how long would it take to get the one that I wanted he said about a week so I asked him to get me one and could he keep me updated to which he assured me that he would any ways a week later and no phone call or email I gave him a call to which a college of Pauls relayed the message to him that I was chasing up my case to which his college told me "it looks like he's forgotten about it he's gone very red faced " but he assured me thst it was not in stock yet but he would keep me informed ( yeah right ) but within two hours I got an email saying that my case was not only in stock but ready for shipping!!! My reason for this rant is keep the customer informed that's all, oh and I love my TZ100

Note - Mr Meredith was the customer & not Mrs Meredith!! This is why I have reduced your score. The camera staff were very good and helpful but is is a pity that the department handling the customer relations isn't capable of getting the gender of the customer correct 0/10 for you!!

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. It would appear that the wrong prefix was accidentally selected when your order was taken. Your customer record will be changed from Mrs to Mr so that our records are correct and any further correspondence will be correct. The salesman helped me compare different tripods and choose the best one for what I wanted. What he didn't tell me was that I also needed to buy an adapter to sit between the tripod and the camera so I had to go back to the shop again (hassle) and buy an extra part (expense). He did a good job advising me about the tripod but should have told me that it was incomplete by itself. Now that I have the adapter it is obvious why I needed it and its obvious why there are so many to choose from but I didn't know that when i bought the tripod.

Very pleased with Nikon lens that I purchased. I was disappointed that the price had increased by £20 on the day of purchase from checking it on line the previous day. The staff were helpful and polite.

No fuss. Described in simple terms what I was looking for as U am new to camera tech. Gave me a couple of options within the boundaries I described. Showed me the basics to get me going. Chose, paid and off I went. No techno babble and no upsell, which I was pleased about. Spot on.

The sales team at Wilkinson were really good, my camera was dispatched in a very timely manner and I was kept informed of the progress of the order. The only negative point that I would like to state, the courier FedEx had it on their delivery vehicle on two days and didn't deliver on either occasion, first time the driver didn't know where we lived so wasn't delivered (don't these firms have satnav??) and the second time it was just taken back to the depot, even though I had spoken to the depot and confirmed it would be delivered, so finally I went to the depot to pick it up, which was 20 miles away! Wilkinson, so that FedEx doesn't ruin your sleek operation, I would look for another courier company. It took the camera on holiday and was extremely happy with the photos it has taken. Hi, Thank you for your review. We are just in the process of changing over to DPD for the majority of our parcels which will give our customers a much better delivery experience. Not only will this give you more affordable timed delivery slot options, but you also get the text and email updates from DPD telling you exactly where your parcel is. This will be fully intergrated on our new website, due later this year, but in the meantime the majority of parcels sent from our website will be sent with DPD. Reasonable experience in the Kendal store, queries dealt with. I was buying a camera model new to me, and asked if the SD card from my old one would fit the new. I was assured it would. Purchasing the camera at this particular time was because I was going on an unrepeatable visit in a few days, but when, on the eve of this trip, I was putting everything together, the old SD card clearly was not compatible with new camera. Panic. Black mark to Kendal staff! Fortunately this problem was solved by staff at your Preston store, where I was able buy the correct one on the stroke of 9 the next morning, having dashed from the station.

Was happy with the service I received from the Liverpool store. The manager who service me had some problems with logging on the computer, but dealt with it professional. The only thing I wish i was given more information about different lens at the time, but unfortunately I said I was happy the camera. Overall am very happy with my purchase Thank you
