Very prompt service. There was an error in the number of items in the order but after a phone call the missing items arrived the next day.

I ordered a flashgun from the company and it arrived well packed and in good time. The product was in the clearance section, so I was able to purchase it at a good price. The only issue is that it was advertised as being 'new'. On its arrival, it was found that the stand and the instructions were both missing. Also, batteries were still loaded, which were almost exhausted. I contacted the company and received a reply. Basically, the item can be returned but a stand could not be provided nor the instructions but a link to download them was sent. I will keep the flashgun as it's one that suits my needs but I do feel that checks should have been made prior to dispatch and that I should have been informed. This unit may well have been used as a demonstrator but I was still very surprised not to receive a totally brand new item or at least a true description of it.

You are absolutely right, this should have been properly checked before the item was dispatched. Please be assured that whenever an item is listed online as a new item, it is because it should be a new item. We do usually list items which have been used for demonstration as "ex-display". Clearly in this case, the item has been listed as new in error or the team have not been made aware that the item had been on display in a store. I'm sorry that this wasn't spotted earlier and certainly before it was sent to you. I'm not sure of the exact reasons behind this item being incorrectly listed or being incomplete, but I suspect you are correct in your assumption that it has been used for display. I will look into how this has happened, so thank you for bringing it to our attention and for your understanding. I really am very sorry if it has caused any inconvenience and I hope that you will understand it is a one-off mistake and it was not our intention to mislead. I have arranged a partial refund which will allow you to buy a stand to make up for the one missing from the box and I have emailed you a link to a suitable option. I’ve shopped with you many times in the past. This was my first internet shopping experience very good speedy delivery 20 hrs but you can still talk directly with the staff if you phone. I do like hands on shopping and as soon as COVID is sorted its a new camera. I would like to find one of your shops close to some disabled parking any such place?

Good morning, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. The closest stores to you with disabled parking near to the shop would be Warrington (Golden Square Shopping Centre) or Preston (St. George’s Shopping Centre). Both of these are based within shopping centres with multi-story car parking attached with lots of disabled spaces and, if necessary, wheelchair friendly access throughout the centres. I have mixed views on my first purchase fro,Wilkinson Camera. I was provided with the incorrect information when speaking to what I believe was a Sales member regarding the number of inks used in the printer plus the wrong codes for replacement inks. This was rectified flowing a call from another member of staff on receipt of my order

It was a particularly busy day where I was trying to juggle a lot of tasks, whilst replying to all enquiries as quickly as possible. In this case it did lead to me making this mistake, which thankfully my colleague picked up before dispatch. I am usually commended for my excellent service and attention to detail but fully take on board that I should have double checked the information before responding. Have ordered brand new and pre owned items.Really good shopping experience ordered items online receiving confirmation email of order with order number. With full receipt to follow good communication with courier from dispatch to delivery if you have a query theirs always someone to talk to at the end of the line good customer service. Paid for next day delivery items arrived on time well packed with no damage to box,pre owned items in good condition according to the grading items meet grading rate.extremely satisfied with all that I’ve purchased so far from Wilkinson cameras 📷 long may the good service continue.

I have been a customer of Wilkinson for a few year's now,originally,Len's,Tripod & memory Card's but recently I have been getting my top quality Printing paper too,alway's looked after in Shop by the Staff.

Promised delivery date achieved and progress to delivery informed. Minor comment that image of part ordered featured the word Ultrasonic ,as does my lens ,but part received did not which ( being the only 52mm lens I have) would have made picking up correct cap for correct lens easier.Not the end of the world but it was one small reason to go with yourselves. Good website and range of equipment. I would have liked the site to identify additional items I could have purchased in addition to the camera and lenses (as a package) I did buy. Items such as an additional battery, option to purchase a larger or additional memory card, additional lenses. As a beginner choosing the correct battery, for example, from the range available is difficult. I may have purchased additional items if I was sure they fitted the camera Iwas purchasing. Delivery was very prompt. Thanks!

Ordering and delivering were very good, but the filter I bought was quite old stock and had some `spots` on it. I had to give it a good clean, which I shouldn`t have to, but the price I paid was so low that it wasn1t worth returning. Other than that everything was fine.

During these difficult times, my order was dispatched and arrived the next day, but that was because I had to pay extra. It would be nice if this service was offered free, normally I would go to the shop to collect. Why have an expensive camera in the hands of carriers extra days which could lead to damage? The camera is excellent, everything I had researched about it was spot on.

Good morning, Thanks for leaving a review and we hope to see you back in your local store soon. We do offer a free delivery service for orders over £50. But, priority services cost extra so Next Working Day is charged at £4.95 (it costs us more than this, but we susidise it to keep the cost to our customers to a minimum). By offering two postage options, both free and priority, we aim to be able to please people who need things quickly and those who would prefer to keep the costs down. But, in order to keep our own costs down and therefore our prices competitive, we cannot offer all postage free of charge as it is a very large expense to us as a business.
