“Ordered a Canon 7d which was delivered exactly as promised, excellent service. I wanted to buy it from the shop but couldn't get in before an offer ended and believe I got it at a better price. This is about the 10th camera I have bought from Wilkinsons for myself and family over recent years, plus 2 or 3 pairs of binoculars, tripods etc, most of the time I could have bought them cheaper but preferred to stay with a business I know and trust. Would be nice to see that loyalty recognised in some way.”

“A win - win situation for me. There was a discount offer on the Canon L lens, free p&p and delivered within 24 hours of ordering, no need to buy lunch out either! Saved money all around and received fantastic service that out performed the South American river name company be a mile (2 kilometres?). Will use again with no hesitation. “I’ve been buying from Wilkinsons for a long time both at the Southport and Preston branches. I have recently made purchases online from them due to time restrictions on me being able to shop. The online service is excellent. Items come exceptionally well packed and sent with a great courier service who keep you updated to the hour as to when a parcel is due for delivery. The entire experience is very positive backed up by sound advice over the phone should you require it. I can’t fault the company in any way. A refreshing change in today’s greedy short sighted retail sector. Thank you to Sara Penwarden and all staff.”

“My online purchase of Hawke Frontier ED-X from Wikinson was quick and easy with a prompt delivery. I had reason to query with Wilkinson the quality of the ocular lens cover which was rather flimsy and didn't attach well to the strap. This was a design issue. Sara from Wilkinson was very sympathetic regarding the issue and was able to supply an alternative more robust cover. I was very please with this positive service.”

“Lens is great value and will be well used, but their choice of DPD as a courier will make me think twice abour ordering. Delivery late and message about parcel being demivered to front porch is a mystery as I don't have one. The parcel was thrown over a 6 foot garden gate, thnkfully it was well packaged.”

“Not a Wilkinson issue but my delivery ordered on 15th May not being delivered till 20th May by DPD is unacceptable. Also no reason given by them for delay. I am aware this is outwith your control but as long as you use DPD I will be unlikely to order from you in the future. I was in when the delivery was made on the 20th.I heard the door, letter was put through the letter box, driver had gone by the time I got to the door. Parcel pitched over a 6 foot garden gate, thank goodness it was well packaged.”

Please be assured that we have raised a complaint with DPD to find out why your item was left without a signature and why it was dropped over a wall. Clearly this is unaccetpable, outside our terms with DPD and certainly not how we expect our parcels to be treated.
