“I’d tracked your shop down as I’m not from Southport and was just there for the weekend and needed an extra roll of film. Finding you was easy and it was such a joy to shop with you. Too often I find going in to a random shop and asking specific questions draws a blank response. But you not only knew your subject well, you were also knowledgable about my specific questions, friendly and enthusiastic. This is a rare quality and I appreciated it. So much so that I spent way more than I had originally intended to. The camera that I showed you is my Kodak Duaflex II. Nothing particularly rare but pretty cool all the same. I was given it by a friend who was literally going to throw it away. My challenge (as a grunge image maker) is finding the right film to fit. So, when Alex showed me your cabinet of film stock I was amazed to see not one but two rolls being offered at a terrific price, along with an equally rare type of 35mm film that was also at a great price, which I also had to buy. Altogether a wonderful and unexpected shopping experience.”

“I spotted a pre-owned Olympus Pen F for sale on the internet and realised it was in my local branch of Wilkinson's here in Liverpool. Although it was described as "well used", when I saw and handled it I thought it MUCH better than its description. A few days later I decided to buy it and since having the camera I am more than happy, both with it and with Wilkinsons service. I would have no concerns about purchasing other items from this company.”

“Disappointed I received a supposed NEW peak design everyday sling 3l v2 and it was used. I found in one of the pockets a hot shoe cover and two O rings from a camera strap. I threw away the package if not I would return it.”

Hi Nelson, I am sorry to hear that the Peak Design Everyday Sling Bag 3L v2 did not arrive in the condition expected. I cannot see that you have attempted to contact us by telephone or email regarding this matter, our customer services department is open 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and would have gladly investigated this for you. As I’m sure you can imagine the systems we use track the movements of all our stock items. We can see that this particular bag was received by us from the UK distributor a short time prior to you placing your order. We note that this is the second of this particular bag that you have purchased from us, so you will be familiar with standards to expect from ourselves and from Peak Design. The suggestion that this bag had been used is concerning to us and we would like to investigate further, could we ask that you take some photographs of the accessories that you found and email them to us at sales@wilkinson.co.uk we would like to take this matter up with the distributor. If you are not entirely happy with the product received then we would accept it as a return even if you have thrown away the plastic outer packaging, we would require that the product labels/tags to be still present and attached. “Five stars for the prompt delivery. But: The package was incorrectly addressed, (incorrect house number), this was noticed by the regular delivery driver, so no issues. The memory card box was unsealed, had it been used? returned? There was no sign of damage. I informed Wilkinson Cameras and received an apology regarding the incorrect address but could not explain why the item was unsealed. This hasn't put me off using Wilkinson Cameras in the future.”

We do apologise that the incorrect house number an error on our part however are glad to hear you have received the parcel, you would have received sms/email notification regarding delivery also. From checking stock movement we can see it was one of our last units in stock which was a clearance line however it should have been communicated with you if we had known the seal was broken.
