I came across a RX10 on Wilkinson Cameras' web page at a very reasonable price. Having bought from Wilkinson before, I decided to go ahead and purchase with confidence and once again I wasn't disappointed. Quick safe delivery and infact, the camera looked brand new. Good afternoon, We are very sorry that your delivery experience did not meet your expectations. Your order was placed on Thursday July 10th with next working day delivery selected. It was dispatched the same day using ParcelForce’s Next Day service. Unfortunately, there was a delay within their network. This was outside of our control. The parcel was delivered on the next working day, Monday 14 July. We understand that delays can be frustrating. However, we dispatched your order promptly and provided full tracking information so you could monitor its progress. You contacted one of our stores on Saturday and then our head office team on Monday. Our staff answered your calls and provided clear information at every stage. During your call on Monday, you demanded an £80 discount due to the delayed delivery. We explained that we could not offer this. You said you no longer wanted the item and would refuse the delivery. We confirmed that if the parcel was returned to us, we would issue a full refund. The delivery was ultimately accepted. You also mentioned needing to take time off work to receive the parcel. Please note that we offer the option to deliver to alternative addresses when paying by card or PayPal. This is helpful if home delivery is not convenient. We do our best to ensure prompt delivery by working with reliable couriers and maintaining multiple delivery options. However, delays can occasionally happen and are beyond our control. If you urgently require an item, we always recommend sourcing it locally. We are disappointed by your claim that our service was appalling and unsupportive. We believe this is unfair given that we provided assistance before and after your purchase, including over the weekend. “Purchased some Hawke binoculars as a birthday present. Whilst we have a Wilkinson shop nearby, in Kendal, I was pushed for time so opted for the free delivery instead. This was rapid and they were perfectly packaged. They have since been used a little and so far so good.”
