“Fast delivery very happy with light bulbs”

“I only received part of my order without any explanation for the missing items. After 10 days I emailed to ascertain when I would receive the missing items which were required urgently but received no response! I also tried calling but was unable to get through. One week after emailing I received a message to say that the missing items had been shipped.”

“Bulbs ordered in cool white 70watt equiv. which were too cold for my kitchen. Asked for replacements which were sent but incorrect bulb type. Had to re-order in warm white 70watt equiv. which I received promptly. However, regarding the cool white bulbs originally ordered is there any way you would reimburse me, please? I have not got the original boxes but could sent them back in the boxes that the warm white ones came in and would mark them cool white. Yours hopefully, Mrs. C.D. Lawrence”

“Great buy had a little snag with delivery from supplier but seller pulled rabbit out of the hat and delivered next day Excellent item looks first class for led floodlight without being switched on Awaiting for electrician to wire up so I cannot give judgement yet on colours or building coverage or use of remote control would happily send another review Once floodlight I up and running and sen nighttime photo”

“Firstly was told delivery will be Monday, products didnt come will the Thursday. They charged me for express delivery even though their website claims free delivery for orders over £45 - mine was over £450. Before i ordered their sales staff told me they would refund the del cost after i placed the order. When I spoke to the manager about why I was lied to about the delivery time he seemed to think he was doing me a favour by refunding the delivery cost!. Not a very coordinated company. Prices are all over the place, by their own admission they said they cannot know if trade will be less than retail.”

“Products generally ok and good value but woe betide you if they are defective... They will first assume that you probably haven't installed them correctly ( I'm a very experienced electrician), then they'll expect you to return the defective items at your own cost ( against consumer law) and ignore your requests for a refund of carriage costs repeatedly. So fingers crossed that the products work ok then.”

“The actual goods are fair to good quality, the issue is the alleged 5 year warranty. For the 5 year warranty to apply (normally 2 years) you have to complete a postal registration form within 90 days of order. The website product pages just say 5 years* Nowhere does it say what the * means until you delve deep into the terms and conditions (which no-one has the time to read) does it mention the need for a separate registration process to get the full 5 years. Very shoddy practice and misleading (at least to me). Seems like a good way to avoid warranty claims but who knows what the motivation was for such a process.”

“Bit irked that their advertised discounts are very misleading - frequently product text will say a discount is applicable, and it isn't. Customer services couldn't care less - "put it in the basket and that's the right discount". Similarly they treat an order of multiple items with slight variations (eg colour temperature) as different so you get less bulk discount. Don't know yet how quality the products are.”
