“The call taking was informative. seemed to know what he was talking about and was very helpful. This is why I went with them. what wasn't helpful is: When product arrived, there were no instructions on wiring (had to call up) No battery in remote! I wired up to test the lights. no power. The nearest shop that would sell that type of battery is over 15 miles away which would mean a 30 mile round trip for me. I have to buy online and wait a few days. I am glad I didn't shelve out for a speedy delivery. I couldn't get the free gift (a wifi plug) to work. I was told that I could extend the warranty on the lights from 2 to 5 years. there was no information with deliver. As the lights are going to be beneath glass and difficult to get to, this was quite important to me.”

“Fantastic service, quality LED strip light! Thanks very much!”

“Bulb is exactly as described. I bought 3 other bulbs from various shops/outlets before finding this one. If you need a bulb that is clear, very bright, white light but not costing the earth to run then this is perfect. many thanks. Karl”

“Initially I was unable to pay on the website, but an easy phoned order resolved that. I bought these bulbs (to replace 18 40w halogens on the landing!) based on their high lumen output, their slightly higher then usual warm white colour, and a hope that they will last longer than the too cheap to be true alternatives available elsewhere, The financial outlay is a little heavy however. The bulbs came quickly (but in un-named boxes), fitted well, all worked and there's no discernible hum or flicker (they are not on a dimmer). As others have commented, they appear to be nearer to the 3200k colour, giving a clean pure light, far preferable in my opinion to the yellow halogen or 2700k leds. Although they are said to have a 360 deg beam angle, this is in the horizontal plane. Everyone selling this design of G9's says this. When mounted upright, as mine are, there can be an area in slight shadow underneath the bulbs, more pronounced than with halogens. I'm very happy with these bulbs, good clean light and a fraction (well, around 7.5%) of the power usage of the halogens. Payback time will be a few years, but the better quality of the light is worth it.”

“I searched the Internet for a suitable replacement bulb for my workshop fluorescent tube. I received this item and once fitted could not believe the improved lux levels. Worth every penny and super fast delivery.”

“Problems with some of the 20 lamps I originally purchased (LED failure and discolouration). This type has since been discontinued, and has been replaced with an updated model. As my original purchase was covered by the 5-year warranty, they were replaced with the updated model. The customer service department were friendly and listened to my problems, excellent service. The new model lamps look fine and fit better than the original, but they have only been in use for a short time so it is too early to make a comment. These new lamps are also covered by the 5-year warranty so you cannot go wrong. In my opinion, not many companies provide this level of customer service.”

“Cons: LED strips are charged for by the metre, but if you request for the strip to be cut to a specific length, the left over strip is not delivered unless you specifically request it during order stage. When I raised a request to manager for left over strip after receiving the delivery, he refused to provide it. Pros: Customer service was very helpful during order submission stage. Delivery was on time (I had paid for next day), products are good value.”
