“Ordering was easy by phone. Let down by courier taking a day longer than promised to deliver a time critical part for my car. Also got follow-up emails about the QUOTE AFTER I had ORDERED. I was kept informed about the delay.”

Follow up emails are generated by an automated system and are sometimes sent in error especially if a customer has ordered goods at a weekend, so sorry for any inconvenience that may have cased. “Company renegade on the warrenty and it took me a year to get my money back through the county court. i received remarks like GO GET A LIFE and DO WHAT YOU LIKE. Your choice if you use this company so i would not recomend”

Mr Alan Trevor These comments refer to a transaction which apparently occurred in February 2012 (four and a half years ago) As the company has undergone personnel changes in the office since then, none of the present staff have any recollection or reference to any issues relating to Mr Trevor. However, we find it very difficult to believe that any of our staff either past or present would make those kind of remarks. We are unable to comment on any issues or refunds which may or may not have occurred at the time, due to the four and a half year time lapse. Our current customer reviews speak for themselves and although it is regrettable that Mr Trevor found his past experience in February 2012 to be unsatisfactory, it is somewhat unusual to receive a review of this nature so long after the event. “Easy to order the correct part for my car online. Received a quote for the alternator within the hour and delivered on day specified. Was kept up to date with progress of my order and the returned alternator. Just hope it keeps on going even with the 18 mth warranty as it's a swine to change.”

“Thank you so much for sorting out my new alternator for my boat. One phone call and two days later my new alternator arrived " as promised " and complete with matching pulley " total surprise" and half the price from the marine supplier who said there was not one in the county and it would be at least two weeks. Keep doing what you are doing guys desperate people!e like me appreciate you ???? Once again many thanks Happy boater Weymouth”

“I ordered a replacement starter motor for my old Honda Civic (1988). Had I got it from a main Dealer it would have cost me best part of £400. West Lancs supplied it for £98 inclusive of excellent packing and next day delivery. Fantastic service in every way ! Irving Freed Gants Hill Ilford.”

“We have not yet fitted the alternator, but given the rest of the transaction, I am sure it will work. This is an efficient operation - they handle things slickly and are nice to deal with. I am not surprised that online trade just keeps on going from strength to strength. It is so easy.”

“good service from knowledgible staff,similar price to autofactors but 18 mth warranty is a bonus,ordered on wed arrived sat morning,thought delivery might have been quicker as only 30 miles away but not complaining as this could be courier delay,overall very happy”

“What a great experience: West Lancs had a replacement starter motor for my 40-year-old marine engine; the price was about half of what the official supplier quoted; the ordering was easy; delivery was two working days; the process for returning the old unit was totally hassle free; and the replacement motor kicked the old diesel into life like I've never experienced before - and that was after a long winter layup. Brilliant all round.”
