“Our West End in Schools Chinese New Year workshop was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The children were fully engaged throughout and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The session was brilliantly adapted to suit all ages, from EYFS right up to Year 6, ensuring that every child could participate confidently and enthusiastically. Bethan was fabulous – professional, warm, and incredibly engaging. She built an excellent rapport with the children, who loved working with her and responded so positively to her energy and expertise. It was a high-quality, inclusive experience that we would highly recommend.”

“Ruby from West End in schools was amazing! The workshops were inspiring and the children were fully engaged throughout the process. The use of story and imagery to help guide the children through the Zodiac dance was very powerful and all of the children were overjoyed to have taken part. Ruby differentiated the workshops from EYFS all the way through to KS2 and it was evident that the dance had been designed to be as inclusive as possible. Definitely recommend and will be booking again!”

“We had a wonderful Lunar Dance workshop that was enjoyed by all. Holly did an incredible job of engaging and enthusing the children, making the session highly motivating and inclusive. From our 3–7‑year‑olds, every child thoroughly enjoyed learning about and bringing The Great Race to life. “The workshop enabled children to experience an art form they wouldn't usually get to experience. Many of our children in our school also wouldn't usually get much experience of the arts which was great to see them enjoyning. Bethan was a great teacher and really engaged the children with her spanish vocabulary and different steps. The children enjoyed learning the moves and performing their own dance. The children were inspired and we had a child that went home and practised in her own spanish inspired dress.”

“Our 2nd panto for West End In Schools. Here's what the children had to say: On Friday December 19th we watched the pantomime called Scroogical. We particularly liked the dramatic parts when the spirits visited Ebenezer Scrooge. The spirits were like ghost people - if you tried to throw something at them, it would go straight through! It was a bit creepy, but in a fun way. There were lots of funny bits in the pantomime that were really engaging. The floating rabbit who spoke to Scrooge was hilarious. The girl and boy were shaking their bottoms which was really comical. The pantomime included some songs which explained parts of the story. We could join in with some of the singing, which was good. Some of the Learning Ambassadors thought that Scrooge was the best actor and others liked the rabbit character best. The Learning Ambassadors agreed that they would like to have another pantomime next year because it was so exciting and entertaining. It was a great way to end the term!”

“This is the 4th year that West End in Schools has performed our Christmas panto and it's another triumph. Our children absolutely love it. It's completely inclusive, the actors are great at getting the children involved and we just love it. It's also a very cost effective way of bring this Christmas tradition to our children. Would thoroughly recommend. We're already booking for next December!”

“Set at a level the KS1 children could understand and enjoy. Audience participation included which ensured engagement was maintained. Looking at our children’s faces showed how much they were enchanted by the performance, especially the singing and comedy parts. It was lovely to see children enjoying a physical performance with two adults and props, without the need for stunts, flashing lights or use of technology. Thank you.”
