“Hi, we loved the dancing and the fact that all children learned a dance, and the teacher was really lovely but we woulds have liked them to have maybe some appropriate spanish clothing and instruments so it could have been a more immersive experience.”

“We were visited by West End in Schools on Tuesday 17th March. The lead was engaging and ehtusiatic and the children enjoyed telling the story through dance. It was lovely to see how each classes dance was pieced together in the final performance and the children loved to watch their peers perform!”

“Priscilla was amazing and all staff and children loved working with her. The only improvement I would suggest is making the actual dance a little less linear in the performance...maybe 1 hour sessions would help with this.”

“I was pleasantly surprised with how the day panned out. I wasn't sure how it was all going to come together, or how Livvy was going to make it work effectively for each year group. When I watched the final performnace, you could see the progression of expectation from Reception through to Year 6 and all the children were eager and excited to come up and perform in front of the rest of the school. The children all seemed to enjoy their session too.”

“Our children and staff thoroughly enjoyed the visit we received for a dance workshop as part of our Lunar New Year celebrations. Children were engaged, enjoyed the workshop and it will definitely be a lasting memory for them! The only way it could have been better would be if the workshop involved props of some kind. “Brilliant for KS1/KS2 however the Antibullying workshop did not seem suitable for Reception. A rewrite would be hugely beneficial to ensure that the youngest learners are being treated to a high quality workshop like the rest of the school. A more appropraite story should be used for them. The rest of the school thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“We had a very enjoyable session with Carl who worked with our EYFS pupils to carry out a Diwali Drama Workshop. Carl pitches these sessions well to capture the enthusiasm of the EYFS pupils and is well resourced to keep the pace of the session flowing. The children and staff really enjoyed it and it really captured their imagination as a starting point to discuss Diwali. It led to lots of follow up impromtu drama sessions back in the classroom which shows how memorable it was. Thank you!”

“The leader was engaging and great. She had great behaviour management to combat disruptive behaviour. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the dance workshop. Although we had technical issues with the files sent prior they already had it on usb ready to play which was fantastic. Feedback from the children: They want a different story as they all know the story of Rama and Sita very well and would love the opportunity to learn a new story. The choreography session was too short and felt rushed so they couldn't dance for longer. Also the learning of the routine needs to be of a slower pace because it was hard to keep up with it at times. Overall they loved it and knew the meaning of all the different parts of the dance.”

“It was brilliant. The children were really enagaged and learning through the drama exercises, which were appropriate and well thought out. The person who ran it was excellent! friendly and professional and had a great way with the children. I would definitely recommend to another school.
