“The workshop leader was very engaged and enthusiastic. He was supportive and encouraging with the students who all thoroughly enjoyed their experience as they learnt about a new fairytale. The workshop had lots of movement and opportunities for the children to get involved. Everything was well explained and paced. The worksohop leader was accommodating too, moving to a different hall due to conflict in schedules. Furthermore, West End in Schools were incredibly understanding about rescheduling the workshop due to the school being closed because of the heatwave. Communication was quick, easy and clear.”

“We have had the most amazing morning with Lee from your company who led a fantastic drama morning of MIDSOMER NIGHTS DREAM with a mix of year three to year six children. He had a fantastic rapport with the children, all children were fully engaged and learned so much from his enthusiasm and passion for Shakespeare. It is an experience they will not forget. Please pass on my thanks to him especially in this heat and in the shortened session. We will definitely be rebooking in the future. A wonderful experience for all.”

“We had the pleasure of welcoming West End in Schools to work with our pupils over two fantastic days, where we were fully immersed in the magical world of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was an incredible experience from start to finish, and the children absolutely loved every moment. It was amazing to watch their confidence grow throughout the workshops as they explored Shakespeare through drama, movement and creativity. The sessions were engaging, accessible and allowed every child to take part and shine. Our instructor was brilliant — supportive, enthusiastic and fantastic at managing the workshops. They created such a positive environment where the children felt comfortable expressing themselves and trying something new. The whole process, from booking to the workshops themselves, was seamless. The team were extremely responsive, helpful and happy to answer any questions we had beforehand. We would highly recommend West End in Schools.”

“The Prep at Denstone College - Flamenco Fiesta! - 04/06/2024 - P4, P5 & P6 The flamenco sessions, run by Finlay Mackay, were brilliant! Finlay engaged all pupils superbly and each year group thoroughly enjoyed learning about the origins and performance of flamenco. The end dance was excellent considering length of the session. Gracias for a memorable morning! Communication from the West End in Schools office was also excellent to arrange all details.”

“We had Rebecca and she was great with all the children (she worked with children from Reception to year 5). She kept them engaged the entire time and the afternoon went really quickly. The children really enjoyed reacting to the different characters and acting together to create mini scenes. A good experience all round. Thank you.”
