All of our pupils enjoyed the day - even those who thought dance wasn't for them! Ruby was fun, energetic, engaging and thoughtful. Each class learnt a dance withan appropriate level of achievable challenge. We will happily use the company again.

Kat and the West End in Schools team gave our primary school an amazing day learning and performing A Midsummer Night's Dream! Kat was so calm and professional. She clearly had a deep understanding of and love for the play and for supporting children to bring it to life in a way that felt safe and fun. She was able to command the children's attention throughout the day and got them to achieve some amazing feats given when they arrived in school that morning most children knew nothing of the plot of A Midsummer Night's Dream! It was particularly noted by the staff that some of the children who had expressed concern about the day were the ones who stepped up and engaged the most. It was incredibly moving to see those children standing proudly in front of the whole school and giving their performance. I have no doubt this experience will positively imprint on all the children who took part. And for this we cannot thank Kat, and you all, enough.

The facilitator herself was brilliant. She was engaging and enthusiastic with the children. However, we were disappointed that there were no props brought along to engage the children and make it a more memorable experience. With the money spent, we would have expected that the children would experience something different than they have had in school - something that we can't offer such as a performance/pop-up set or use of props.

We had a fantastic day with Lee from West End in Schools, who was brilliant with the children. It was so lovely to see the children from Reception to Year 6 enjoying themselves and actively participating in performing A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was amazing to see how well children remembered the actions and their lines, all brought together at the end of the day for a whole-school performance! We'll be booking again next year!

Our Great Fire Of London drama workshop was a great way to consolidate our history unit. The session was engaging from start to finish with lots of different activities for the children to take part in. All the children were able to participate in the workshop and be involved. This is the second year we've had the workshop and we will definately invite them in again next year.

Amazing, the children really enjoyed the workshop and were very engaged. Vicki ( can't remember if that was the name) was also very lovely and very understanding with the computer mishap we had in the morning and helped set up in the classroom because the computer was not working in the hall. Would recommend to the school to have more workshops for history.

Our children absolutely loved their session with Rebecca. They left feeling informed, passionate, and full of excitement. The theatrical approach really helped key information stick, making the learning experience both engaging and memorable. There's been a genuine buzz around the school today, which is fitting given the fascinating facts they learned about bees! Many of the classes were so inspired by their workshops that they decided to write reflections, which I’ve attached to this review. Here are a few quotes from the reflections: "I love the world. Keep it safe!" (Year 1 child) "It's cool to learn about the world and deforestation, and I think Rebecca was cool!" (Year 2 child) "It is so important to protect the Earth so people and different species don't become extinct." (Year 2 child) "I feel inspired to make a change, and I hope others will too!" (Year 6 child) "If I was part of the Government, I would arrange a day every month to plant trees and take care of the Earth. I would name it Earth Day! It would be awesome. My friends and I would definitely love it!" (Year 6 child) Rebecca has sparking enthusiasm for environmental protection in a way that resonates deeply with the children. The enthusiasm from the students speaks volumes about the effectiveness of her teaching and the lasting impression it has made.

Abi was really lovely. She explained everything really well to the children and made sure they were engaged. SHe knew the texts well and had some lovely activities for the children to engage in. The children enjoyed freeze framing and acting as the characters too.

West End in Schools provided a fantastic event for all pupils in our school. They emersed the children in the language and excitement of Shakespeare and the performance at the end of the day was a real celebration of all the hard work that had been done throughout the day.

A brilliant day! The children absolutely loved creating the story of Alice in Wonderland through dance! All dancing and routines were suited towards each year group, allowing all children to take part. It was lovely to see all children perform in front of each other at the end of the day.

Hayley was absolutely fantastic, a lovely person and provided a very engaging session for the children. However, we as teachers felt that the workshop could be improved with props, costumes and music. The content provided could have been delivered by a teacher and therefore we felt that, for the money paid, there should be some added extras that schools could not provide. We would have loved there to be more acting from the facilitator to really engage children into the world of the Romans.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day today! Gabriella was very knowledgeable about the play and the context that Shakespeare was working/living in. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and gained a lot of skills from the experience. We will definitely be booking this again.

Our school engaged with the Alice in Wonderland workshop over the course of two days. Our facilitator, Abbie was fantastic throughout. She had a very natural way with the children, she engaged them throughout their workshop session and all of the children took part. The final performace was fantastic! The children were thoroughly immersed in the performance and performed with enthusiasm and confidence. Thank you for such a positive experience, which the chidlren will always remember.

What an absolutely fantastic day! Benji was brilliant with all our children and they performed a wonderful rendition of 'Alice in Wonderland' at the end of the day. It was inspiring, extremely well organised and well thought out and delivered. We will definitely use West End in Schools in the future! Superb!

The price did not reflect the experience £560+ for 1 man and an iPad. It was disappointing. Especially as the facilitator did not know the story and was reading it off an iPad. For the experience that the children received, we, as teachers, could have delivered this experience ourselves. The description on the website does not reflect the activities. 'older children have the opportunity to recreate parts of the story and to discuss and debate the decisions of the characters.' - this did not happen at all. 'look at the story as a whole before delving into the story’s setting and imagining how the characters move, feel and think.' - neither did this. We would not book again or recommend. It's unfortunate that our limited budget was spent on this.

We had 'Our World Our Future' workshops delivered to all of KS1 and KS2. The sessions were really well managed and run with loads of energy and activity for the children. Lots of good climate change information was delivered and discussed; the children loved them and accompanying staff were impressed. Would definitely recommend!
