“We had the most wonderful experience with Pinocchio Dance Workshop today! From start to finish, the children absolutely loved it and were completely engaged throughout. They were so excited and couldn’t wait to show us what they had created in their final performance this afternoon! Gabby was brilliant, so patient, calm and encouraging with all of our children. She handled everything seamlessly, even thinking on the spot when the sound system wasn’t working as expected. The workshop has truly sparked excitement for World Book Day this week. I can’t recommend it enough!”

“The workshop leader was very friendly and welcoming to staff and children. All children were able to access the learning and was lovely to see how accessible to all learners and abilities the workshop was. The performance at the end was lovely to watch and all children were eager to take part. It was a joy to observe and be part of and we will definitely be rebooking.”

“What an absolute pleasure to welcome West End In Schools into our school, and what an incredible experience it was! From start to finish, the children were completely captivated and so deeply engaged in every activity. Lily was truly inspiring and fantastic with the children. Her energy, expertise, and encouragement meant that every single child responded brilliantly. She created such a positive and supportive atmosphere that all pupils – including those with additional needs – were fully included and able to take part with confidence. The final performance was so classy and professionally delivered. It was amazing to see how much progress the children made in such a short time, both in their acting and dance skills. Their confidence visibly grew throughout the day, and they were so proud of what they achieved. It was honestly soooo good – what a great day for everyone involved! We can’t wait to welcome them back again.”

“The workshop was excellent. My class of Nursery and Reception children were highly engaged and loved joining in with the actions and movements to tell the story. I also liked how the story was split into three sections for the three classes, which we all watched at the end. This led naturally into some classroom work that we have done following the workshop, looking at the beginning, middle and end of the story.”

The session was brilliantly adapted to suit all ages, from EYFS right up to Year 6, ensuring that every child could participate confidently and enthusiastically. Bethan was fabulous – professional, warm, and incredibly engaging. She built an excellent rapport with the children, who loved working with her and responded so positively to her energy and expertise. “Ruby from West End in schools was amazing! The workshops were inspiring and the children were fully engaged throughout the process. The use of story and imagery to help guide the children through the Zodiac dance was very powerful and all of the children were overjoyed to have taken part. Ruby differentiated the workshops from EYFS all the way through to KS2 and it was evident that the dance had been designed to be as inclusive as possible. Definitely recommend and will be booking again!”
