“The guy was fantastic - I literally don't know how he did it but it was awesome. All the children were engaged and inspired and Peddar was fun but authoritative so they learned quickly and with ease. Well, I can only speak for myself when I say that that I found Friday wonderful! I was amazed at how my class learnt a dance in 20 minutes and then had the confidence to perform it to the whole school.”

“Colin was brilliant! He was full of energy, instantly engaging, worked so hard to interest the children and prepared them brilliantly for their end of the day show. Staff were blown away with how much the children had achieved in their workshops. This was highly inclusive and a real pleasure to see so many children who usually lack confidence or who face challenges in their learning embracing the fun!”

“What a fantastic way to celebrate World Book Day and the National Year of Reading. The workshop was pitched really well to all age groups allowing all children to succeed. The final performance was a lovely celebration of what they had all learnt and a lovely way to retell the story of Pinocchio. James, our dance workshop instructor, was great with the children and was able to teach each year group their portion of the story in an engaging and fun way.”

“What a super day of storytelling, drama and dance! The children of Lympstone Primary School, Exmouth, absolutely loved retelling the story of Pinocchio today. Each class enjoyed acting with Michelle and then performing to the rest of the school. She was encouraging and enthusiastic with all the different age groups and the children loved her energy! Everything from West End Schools was well organised and the day ran smoothly and as planned. The day was a perfect way to celebrate World Book Day 2026! Thank you.”

“We love having the West End in Schools come to visit us. This was our fourth year running and we rebook because our children love the experience. Having trained actors gives the children that they can't get from their class teachers and the dramatisation is very well-led. Victoria, our leader, was superb. She was patient with our children with SEND and made the session really enjoyable for our littlest up to our eldest, who loved being silly and performing. Thank you.”

“The children at St Mary's CE Primary had a fantastic time with West End in Schools performing the story of Pinocchio. The teacher was excellent with all the pupils and created an amazing experience for them all to celebrate World Book Day. I would definitely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to book them again! Thank you”

“Absolutely brilliant day. The children loved it and it made us emotional to see children who are often shy or less confident shine in the whole school performance. Thank you!”

“What an amazing day we’ve had at our Primary School. The pupils were taught a long sequence of choreography by an impressive facilitator and absolutely loved their workshop. It was moving to see the pupils perform their part of the whole Pinocchio dance. What a fabulous experience.”

“We had Westend in Schools come to us on World Book Day 2026. We opted for the story in a day and worked on The Wind in the Willows. John led the day and I have to say, he was AMAZING! The children loved him, he was so full of energy, chatty and got all the children involved, even the more reluctant ones! He worked extremely hard and even he said he was getting emotional about how well the children did. We would love for John to come back to our school next year!!! Highly recommend this experience for schools. It gives all children the opportunity to shine through a different medium. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
