Liv was brilliant with the children and really engaged them! The routine was pitched correctly for their ages.

We had a very enjoyable session with Carl who worked with our EYFS pupils to carry out a Diwali Drama Workshop. Carl pitches these sessions well to capture the enthusiasm of the EYFS pupils and is well resourced to keep the pace of the session flowing. The children and staff really enjoyed it and it really captured their imagination as a starting point to discuss Diwali. It led to lots of follow up impromtu drama sessions back in the classroom which shows how memorable it was. Thank you!

We had the Diwali workshop with Ruby and it was fantastic! All of the children were engaged and took part in the opportunity to learn the story of Rama and Sita through dance and drama. Sidbury would hihgly recommend West End in Schools. Thank you, esepcially to Ruby who the children LOVED!

Bethan arrived early and was very personable and kind. She talked us through the day and was extremely organised. The children and teachers were blown away by her enthusiasm, energy, teaching and how fun she made the day - even our reluctant dancers joined in. We cannot wait to book more days through West End in Schools.

The leader was engaging and great. She had great behaviour management to combat disruptive behaviour. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the dance workshop. Although we had technical issues with the files sent prior they already had it on usb ready to play which was fantastic. Feedback from the children: They want a different story as they all know the story of Rama and Sita very well and would love the opportunity to learn a new story. The choreography session was too short and felt rushed so they couldn't dance for longer. Also the learning of the routine needs to be of a slower pace because it was hard to keep up with it at times. Overall they loved it and knew the meaning of all the different parts of the dance.

The workshop was brilliant. The workshop had a great pace which meant the children were continously engaged and excited. The activities used engaged all learners and allowed them to continue building their knowledge on the Ancient Romans. All pupils enjoyed this!

Lee was absolutely fantastic. He is a down to earth teacher who the children immediately warmed to. The sessions were equally fun, thoughtful and inspiring. Many of the children have been asking to do more Shakespeare as a result.

Hannah delivered the Alice in Wonderland workshop to our year 3 and 4 children. All the children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were able to show what they had learnt at the end of the day. Hannah kept the sessions engaging with the fast pace, easy to learn routines and a great personality. We hope we a re fortunate to work with West End in Schools again in the near future. Thank you for a great day, Hannah!

It was brilliant. The children were really enagaged and learning through the drama exercises, which were appropriate and well thought out. The person who ran it was excellent! friendly and professional and had a great way with the children. I would definitely recommend to another school. What would be great would be if the children had something to take home to remember the experience by, even something very simple.

All of our pupils enjoyed the day - even those who thought dance wasn't for them! Ruby was fun, energetic, engaging and thoughtful. Each class learnt a dance withan appropriate level of achievable challenge. We will happily use the company again.

Kat and the West End in Schools team gave our primary school an amazing day learning and performing A Midsummer Night's Dream! Kat was so calm and professional. She clearly had a deep understanding of and love for the play and for supporting children to bring it to life in a way that felt safe and fun. She was able to command the children's attention throughout the day and got them to achieve some amazing feats given when they arrived in school that morning most children knew nothing of the plot of A Midsummer Night's Dream! It was particularly noted by the staff that some of the children who had expressed concern about the day were the ones who stepped up and engaged the most. It was incredibly moving to see those children standing proudly in front of the whole school and giving their performance. I have no doubt this experience will positively imprint on all the children who took part. And for this we cannot thank Kat, and you all, enough.

The facilitator herself was brilliant. She was engaging and enthusiastic with the children. However, we were disappointed that there were no props brought along to engage the children and make it a more memorable experience. With the money spent, we would have expected that the children would experience something different than they have had in school - something that we can't offer such as a performance/pop-up set or use of props.
