“Our school engaged with the Alice in Wonderland workshop over the course of two days. Our facilitator, Abbie was fantastic throughout. She had a very natural way with the children, she engaged them throughout their workshop session and all of the children took part. The final performace was fantastic! The children were thoroughly immersed in the performance and performed with enthusiasm and confidence. Thank you for such a positive experience, which the chidlren will always remember.”

“The price did not reflect the experience £560+ for 1 man and an iPad. It was disappointing. Especially as the facilitator did not know the story and was reading it off an iPad. For the experience that the children received, we, as teachers, could have delivered this experience ourselves. The description on the website does not reflect the activities. 'older children have the opportunity to recreate parts of the story and to discuss and debate the decisions of the characters.' - this did not happen at all. 'look at the story as a whole before delving into the story’s setting and imagining how the characters move, feel and think.' - neither did this. We would not book again or recommend. It's unfortunate that our limited budget was spent on this.”

Lots of good climate change information was delivered and discussed; the children loved them and accompanying staff were impressed. Would definitely recommend!”

“I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude to Sarah for the incredible climate change workshop she hosted for us yesterday. It was our first time booking her for the school, and we were absolutely blown away! The children were fully engaged throughout the session, and the content was both informative and age-appropriate. It sparked important discussions and really got them thinking about how they can make a difference. “This was the third time we have had West End in Schools in as part of our World Book Day celebrations and it really does what it says on the tin - "Bringing Books To Life"! Our facilitator Lorraine worked brilliantly with our Reception and Key Stage 1 classes to involve the children in an imaginative and creative retelling of the Gingerbread Man. All children (including those with additional needs) were really engaged and got a lot out of their session. We have already booked to have them back again next year.”

Each learned a pretty complex routine and then it all came together at the end in a performance linked by voice over and music. “We recently invited West End in Schools to work with our children as part of our World Book Week celebrations, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Rachel, our instructor, was absolutely fantastic — full of energy, creativity, and passion for engaging the children. The focus of the workshop was Alice in Wonderland, and Rachel worked with children from Reception to Year 6 throughout the day.
