“Leader was very engaging and gave clear instructions which allowed all pupils to participate and succeed (we have a significant percentage of SEN and EAL pupils). The pupils were able to tell me what they had learned about the difference dance style and all loved watching themselves back in the video of their performance - in summary, a well- led and enjoyable learning experience for the children.”

“Thank you so much to West End schools who provided an excellent specialist (Jamie) to deliver workshops to our students in Reception - Year 6 for Anti-Bullying week. Each workshop was age appropriate and differentiated for each year group, resulting in engaged students from start to finish. We are most grateful to West End Schools for proving this experience and would definitely use them again!”

“We had an amazing time with Jess who transported us back to the Stone Age time with Year 3. Everything she taught was relevant and it matched perfectly with our history lessons. All the children were engaged and they thoroughly enjoyed all the drama workshop activities. A brilliant day. Jess was outstanding! She involved every child in the class during the poetry and poppies presentation - getting the children up and about to fully immerse themselves in the experience. Her presentation was detailed and children walked away with knowledge of world wars, remembrance day and poetry. One child said after the experience "I loved pretending to hide in the trenches and saying the poems louldy!" Thank you Jess. :)”

“Our Year 3 pupils really enjoyed the workshop. After learning about the Diwali story in class, the dance workshop with West End in Schools really brought the story alive. The children enjoyed the different dance moves, re-enacting the expressions and body language of the main characters and learning the key events of the story. The workshop helped to embed their learning about Diwali and they were inspired by the events of such a legendary tale. Children who are usually quite shy about dancing in front of others were enjoying the various dance moves, shaking their arms and hips by the end of the session, as well as some of our teaching staff! The workshop leader was enthusiastic and held the children's attention very well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and exciting session for the children. Thank you.”
