“Quite a straightforward process to use and it worked well for us with books that were unsuitable for charity shops. Trekking round second hand book stores is arduous and often unproductive. Far more books were in the category of "not being accepted currently, than I expected, so I maybe still have to do the shops! Pence only given for some books- a pristine T.S. Eliot Selected Poems. Sad!”

“Have arranged a collection for two parcels twice and no one has shown up. No courtesy call to let me know what is going on. Rang the customer services who said it is on their system but as I say no one has turned up. Also read on other reviews that quoted offers aren't honoured due to condition being bad in transit or various items missing in packages. I give up, probably better to sell on ebay.”

I am sorry to hear your items were not collected, if you email your offer ID to info@webuybooks.co.uk, we can contact Hermes and find out what the issue is and when the items will be collected. Items are only ever rejected in an offer if they don't pass the condition guidelines, we buy the items to find a second home for them, so they need to be in a condition that someone would be happy to receive them in. “Webuybooks are a very good company to sell your used books too, however, some of their prices do border on unfair, especially when the books are practically brand new. Additionally, there is not much communication between the company and the seller, so it is hard to know what stage your sale is at. However, overall it is a service that does what it says on the tin.”
