“An efficient and honest way to sell unwanted books, or in my case, to earn a little extra cash. Payment was prompt, full amount paid. I am very impressed with this company. Have recommended to friends and colleagues. Would have given 5 stars if Hermes collection service was smoother. After requesting a collection, nobody arrived on scheduled date, tracking wasn't working, so decided to take package to a collection location. The latter was better. Received confirmation from WeBuyBooks shortly afterwards and received cheque in post.”

“I was very impressed with the customer service that I received from Webuybooks- the company replied very quickly to my emails when I had trouble with Hermes (my books were not collected and I was not sent a rearranged pick up time by Hermes). My payment was processed quickly and everything was very efficient except the pick up by Hermes.”

“This was an efficient service and I only knock off one star because some books they would not take. Obviously, they know their business but it comes as a surprise that they will take some books but not others from the same author. Still the service was efficient and easy.”

“The app is easy to use and it's good to get some cash for the books you're not longer going to enjoy. The only thing to improve for me would be to be able to get the box collected without having to print/wait for the label, as some parcel collection service print the label on the spot with the reference number.”

“Fantastic service very minimum wait time all done in 3 weeks paid in full very quickly...only issues are i had thousands of books and dvds and blu ray ...they are very selective on what they buy so all in all i sold about 3% of what i scanned ....pretty much a waste of hours oh well car boot sale it is”

“Worked reasonably well Would help if name author of book was displayed especially when book declined. Would confirm that correct details entered and book still not accepted Would also help if easier to swap between phone scanning and pc. Phone camera great for scanning but difficult for admin. However pc much better to do all typing and admin. Ideally could use both to optimise selling process”

“The phone app and the collection service have been efficient. They tend to reject the vast majority of items I offer, and you only get a pittance back, but as long as you're not expecting to get much, it works well.”

“This was the 1st time I have used We Buy Books and the initial process was quite easy, but I had to re enter everything the next day as it did not hold the items and the price dropped. Also the collection was 1 whole week later than booked, meaning I had to contact the company, which also led to some slight confusion about the number of packages. However the contact centre staff were great, and everything was good in the end. I will use them again.”
