“Took a long time to process and no communication”

“Only given 3 stars as booked courier to collect and they didn’t. I tried to find out why and got no response from courier company and Webuybooks said they would investigate and get back to me and no-one did. I ended up taking to my local drop off point, not easy as box quite heavy; hence reason for requesting courier collection. This is the second time this has happened to me. Suggest changing courier company as rest of service great and very timely.”

“Webuybooks is obviously very similar to Ziffit, but I find that Webuybooks usually buys a wider range of my books/CDs/DVDs, and pays a better price for them. If I were going to tweak their iOS app, I would have the scanner screen open automatically, so save that unnecessary extra screentap every time! Also, typing in barcodes (for the items that won't scan) would be easier if a slightly larger keypad appeared on the screen. I have also bought things from Webuybooks, and found their customer service to be excellent.”

“Price quoted was reduced when received books missing and water damage all I can say is they were all there when posted and none had any damage they were mostly new. Checked the area where packed and nothing left behind. Beware if you are going to use we buy any books I am not the first to say this and no mention of payment for the books. They will charge me to return the damaged books but do not say how much or give me a chance to decide if it is worth it”

“I have purchased books from this company for a few years now. I receive good quality books with fast delivery. I have just started selling books back and have again found them a good company to deal with. Payment is made within a couple of days of them receiving my parcel. Reputable company to deal with.”

“Fast payment if you ever get an offer when scanning books. Many books we scanned just got a big Red Cross in the middle of the screen very frustrating especially when all that scanning eats your phone battery!!”

There are a number of factors that affect whether we can purchase an item, it is mainly due to the demand for the item in the marketplace and how many copies are readily available at the time of scanning.
