Quick sale but didn’t get what we expected

As expected I was given a price on line that was immediately brought down the second I parked the car. The service was great so can’t fault the process and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Shame they couldnt stick closer to the price

They said it was a grade 2 condition but then price came down by £600 from online valuation , which was a bit disappointing. Seems like the online price is just to tempt you in. The guy who served me was very polite and professional.

A bit disappointed about my value of my car

First offer over the internet was decent but unfortunately the person looking at the car when I presented it to sell, did everything in his power to knock the price down from the original price quoted, knocking £500 off the original price to pay for a re spray for two tiny stone chips on the bonnet and a small red mark on the passenger front door, that just needed polishing out all three were barely visible, a week or so later I saw the car on a garage forecourt in Bristol for sale and the stone chips and tiny red mark were still there, a salesman came over thinking I was interested in buying the car, when I pointed out the marks he said (what do you expect it’s a used car) pity we buy any car hadn’t thought of that when they appraised it, instead of knocking the valuation down by £500 of with no intention of repainting the marks. Needless to say I won’t be using them again.

Because the value of my car dropped by £400 and the salesman just kept saying the car is 13 years old! Which you knew when you valued it online! Not happy as my photo was taken with my driving licence and the salesman couldn't confirm where this photo would be stored and for how long! It's on his iPad!

The offer price quoted initially £3250 was not representative of the actual offer price £1150 at point of sale. Even though I gave good accurate description of the condition of car on the Web site. Feel sort of let down.

The buyer at the location was very helpful and friendly but I feel some of the deductions with too much and when I found the second key for the car there was no process to give it in with the car. I’m very aware that this was after the sale of the car but still think there should be a better way of dealing with customers.

The person dealing with me was great. But my car was in very clean condition with very minor damage and the amount deducted was disproportionate to the damage, which would have had zero effect in the auction value.

Great service from the representative. Couldn’t fault him. Obviously expected the valuation to drop on arrival but it dropped massively. Really, don’t believe any online valuation will match the final outcome. Cleaners if you’re desperate to use these people.
