Got well above what I was offered part exchange but be prepared for them to reduce the online price as every stone chip or scratch reduces the price.

After seeing the big rise in 2nd hand vehicles i decided to sell my 2yr old VW T-cross. After getting a price of over 21k from the local dealer i tried WBAC who offered over £300 more than the dealer. i turned up to WBAC fully expecting the valuer to knock down the quoted price by a lot. He did knock the price down a little bit which, after we both checked all round the car, i decided was a fair deduction and agreed the sale. The sale was on a Saturday, on the Monday the balance of the sale was in my bank, and the DVLA confirmed the sale of car and were authorising the refund of vehicle tax. The final payment to VW was made on the Thursday. I know a lot of people(myself included) don't like the idea of handing over their car and documents and having to trust they will get their money up to 4 days later. In my case everything went ok, though i admit a few tense days until payment went through. WBAC have been around for quite a while now and provided i get a fair price i would happily use them again

The process was really quick and easy and the young man who assessed the car's value was easy to deal with. Everything was explained clearly and there was no pressure. I got a good price for my car - I didn't expect to get the initial price offered online but it was still more than the dealerships offered - to be fair, they recommended I went to We Buy Any Car .com.

Sold my Mini Countryman to wbac. Experience was fine except for too many people being booked in at the same time and the colleague being run off his feet! Also a slight quibble over paperwork but I managed to locate it and return to the branch quickly. They did knock off for damage but I was expecting that.

The whole process was very straightforward. I was monitoring the base value of my car for a number of weeks to get the best deal as close to the purchase of my new car as possible and the occasional prompts that the value had increased were actually relevant, rather than just marketing fluff. The one downside is that the impact of minor chips to the paintwork on the final valuation seemed a bit excessive. I was still happy with the final price paid though; I was just expecting a bit more.

Team that I met to sell my car was very friendly and professional. The whole process took about 30mins once we got started but had to wait to be seen as they were running late on earlier appointments. Otherwise all completed efficiently. Be prepared to have your online valuation offer reduced once at the site. This i found a little frustrating but selling gave me more options on the purchase of my new car and at the same time I ended up at a little below what I was hoping for but still satisfied.

Using the service for the first time,i found it simpler than expected,with very good information beforehand as to what to expect,what to bring,and directions etc.could not have been better.Shane whom i dealt with at the Bridgwater office was excellent,and i would highly recommend the service,and the likelyhood of achieving a somewhat better price for your vehicle than through dealership part exchange.
