Because of ULEZ my "S" type Jaguar diesel and with only a week to go on road tax and insurance I had to sell my car within a few days, otherwise pay a costly insurance and road tax. I was quoted £1500, but they said the paint on one panel had an inferior paint sprayed onto it and not obviously a Jaguar paint, although one could not tell the difference in the colour. Because of the time factor I was forced to sell this wonderful reliable car for their price of £1038. However, I have just seen it advertised on "Auto trader" in a car dealership 40 miles away for £4494. So much for "We buy any car" and this so called ULEZ pollution con trick.

Agreed price £3,390. Turned up to agree deal and it turns out the vehicle was previously owned by a hire car company (they will have known this before turning up from the searches they do). Pressured my 70 year old mother into a agreeing a value of £2,400. They are scammers and this page is rife with fake reviews.

Online valuation £28k. After on-site videos inspection valuation reduced to £27.4K - stone chips and loss of key. Agreed valuation - signed and sold the vehicle. Two days later received phone call from WBAC - subsequent inspection found a fault with the engine (noise). Value reduced to £22.3k or have vehicle returned. Vehicle serviced by manufacturer service centre only 1000 miles previously. Car still under manufacturers warranty. No engine noise issue heard by me, during service and at WBAC inspection. WBAC cannot find the original inspection video. I was arranging for manufactures service agent to collect the vehicle from WBAC as a £5k value reduction indicates a major engine issue. Was in an email conversation with WBAC regarding this arrangement. Car unexpectedly delivered back to my home address - driver stated that the car had no engine issues. Car now booked into manufacturers service centre for diagnostic inspection. I have to reapply for the V5. Awaiting inspection and subsequent report. If fault found then will repair under warranty. If no fault found then I will ask WBAC to honour the original contract. Raised customer complaint - no response. Customer services are very difficult/impossible to contact. My aim now is to get WBAC to honour the original contract - exploring my options.

Rip off company offer a good price initially then knock you down £1000 for a few minor stone chips on a 6 year old car £75 admin fee rip off £25 to get your funds or wait several days !!!! When we all know you can bacs in seconds !!! Definitely praying on vunrable people who are desperate for cash total cowboys do not use customer service is non insisting!!! Total rubbish experience

Rip off. Offered nearly half what was originally told the value was. Sales man (if you can call him that) was un informative with every aspect of the transaction. Then told don't get the money until the next day as it had finance. He should have told me that. Now I'm left without a car.

I recently went to sell my car at we buy any car in Solihull retail park. While I was happy with the valuation after viewing the car, I couldn't believe the rudeness and aggressive nature of the branch manager Angie K. This manager could do with some serious customer service training. Her time was abrupt, dismissive anf unfriendly. While I really did want to sell the car there and then but out of principle I refused to do business with someone so rude. I then went on to sell the car at the same valuation at another branch in Birmingham. Webuyanycare please ensure this manager receives training or I suspect other customers will simply use another company all together.

Hello I sold my car to we buy any car on Monday 5th June 2023 and the money was in my bank account on Friday 9 th June 2023 and they were supposed to pay all the BMW finance but I received a letter from BMW Finance about 4 weeks later saying that I owed BMW Finance £720 so I went to their depot in Ashford and they said that the BMW Finance is paid off and they said it is my problem to pay the £720 to them so I am not very happy with their customer advise as I thought that it had all been paid

We went to Silverlake Southampton and what a waste of time! Having been quoted £530 we were offered £290, which we declined - they were told it was an 18 year old car so why were they so keen to supply a quote they clearly had no intention of honouring? We suspected that would be the case and we were right...

Poor customer service met the representative at potters bar his attitude stunk from the very out set he had no attention of offering me what was quote even though the book value for the car was much higher than the original quote and my car was above average condition. Found him rude how he spoke was not friendly at all. Avoid this company was my opinion!!

Agreed a price of £10,098 on 29/06/2023 following inspection at their Birchwood branch, unfortunately forgot service book. Returned three days later with the full service history and was told best offer now £9,600. Salesman couldn’t care less. I would avoid these people at all costs.

Went to cramlington we buy any car met with melody who was very rude Her welcome was go round the back no introduction? Walked round the car which started with a valuation of over 800 She offered 60 pound less the admin fee When I said I'm sorry for wasting your time she just walked off and left? Not only was the experience a feel of I was an inconvenience she added the insult aswell Never again

Totally disappointing service from WBAC. Got an online valuation, purchased a new car based on this price. When the time came to sell to WBAC they could not find the vehicle due to me taking private plate off and valued it at £2.5K less. Wasted my time and cost me a lot of money. Will never use WBAC again and advise every one to be aware - especially if you have a prive number plate you wish to retain.

Do Not believe the online quote . Drove to the Clacton branch in Asda's carpark. Only to be told he would have to do the paper work first. That made me realize instantly that he was not going to give the offered price even though the car is in immaculate condition inside and out.why not check the car first then do the paper work.? They must think we're thick to fall for that. My advise is Do Not trust them!
