If you can't get a feel for a product in the 7 days we currently have for free-trial then just get in contact with the support team (http://help.sparkol.com) explaining why and we can usually provide a few more days... a month is maybe pushing it a bit though ;)

Hello Jordan, glad you like VideoScribe! The premium images are actually submitted and sold by private illustrators so we don't own them and that's why they cannot be included in the subscription price. We're regularly adding new content to the library as well though and we always announce new image packs on http://blog.videoscribe.co/.

“I can say with confidence, VideoScribe is worth every penny of the nominal price of $144 a year. I needed to create a video fairly quickly, did not have experience with animation platforms, and used the handy seven day free trial to try it out. After my purchase, I easily taught myself and used the helpful tutorials when I got stuck. VideoScribe also offers great features and add-ons. My video was a hit and I was asked to create another one. So, if you are trying to get away from boring bullet laden presentations and want to showcase your message in the best possible way while keeping your audience engaged, VideoScibe is the right tool for you!”

“BUYER BEWARE. They get you onto an a subscription plan and charge your card without you knowing with an increase in price. (READ THE FINE PRINT). Will need recommend or buy from them again. Upon speaking to the rep.....was told that no exceptions made unless someone was dead in the family. What creeps! Spread the news....how companies do business is as important as what they do.....#banSparkol.”

Hello Leo, Yes, we do sell our products on a subscription basis. We don't hide that and we always send yearly subscribers reminder emails in the month leading up to the payment. You have received these emails and it is unfortunate if they have been missed or lost in your inbox. Our communications show that you signed up through a '25% off your first year' sale. The checkout page that you used to sign up shows you what you will pay now and in the next years at full price, so that it is clear what subscription plan you are starting. This is why you were charged a higher subscription payment in year 2. Your reference to 'someone dead in the family' seems to be a misinterpretation of our refunds policy which offers some exceptions to help those in extreme circumstances. When you called us you were over a month into the next year of your subscription and that is substantially past the point where we can cancel the contract and refund your payment. You asked for an exception and we explained that there were no exceptional circumstances in your reasons for not cancelling the subscription. Kind Regards VideoScribe

“Interface is really laggy and I frequently get the "Not Responding" message. It is severely annoying and not that great of a tool. Best part about it is its price.”

“I have been a user of VideoScribe for many years. I purchased a lifetime license years ago and the full SVG Studio for assets. The team at VideoScribe has always been awesome to work with and very responsive. Barry is always responsive and very helpful. He really cares, you can tell in how he works to resolve issues. I love the toolset and the improvements they keep making are super helpful. Once you get the hang of it its really easy to use. I did struggle a bit to get making high quality scribes because I am not as artistic some of the really cool samples on their web site... but I am getting there. a quick story, I first installed in my iPad years ago.. on my way to bed ..and started goofing around with it. I was so excited I woke up several (4) times to work on my first scribe during the night.. (yes I am married. Sadly for my wife she is married to me) by early morning I was so excited to share my evenings work with her.. (she was less excited than I, lets just say). But it was a masterpiece. She did go back to sleep. Anyway, I have been hooked ever since. Try it you will be too. it's kind of addicting.”

“There is absolutely no support. We (as a company) have unlimited license and we use Videoscribe from its beginning. There is no day we are not dealing with bugs. We stopped reporting them +- 1 year ago since there were no reactions. Newer versions make it even worse. No matter how powerful computer you have you will struggle. Especially with longer 4+ mins scribes. Sorry guys, nice idea, but terrible app. Hope someone will compete with you on the market soon.”

“It's an idiot-proof (the idiot in question is me) piece of software, very effective and user-friendly. After a year on it (in this case a yearly payment), I changed mine to monthly. Then, last month, I decided to drop it for the time being, as I had lost some work for which it would have been needed. This was done, and then yesterday things changed again, and I needed to reinstate the software. The Sparkol people did all this painlessly for me, and for that and other reasons (I am not connected with Sparkol), I can recommend them unreservedly.”

“I cancelled my subscription and they took the money out of my account and will not give me a refund. They say once it has been processed they do not refund payments. Even though I cancelled the script prior to them taking the money out.”
