Item was late being delivered and had to chase. They were going to leave me with a huge pallet which had housed a very slim radiator, fortunately the delivery person waited for me to remove it from the pallet and took it away again.

The assistant Chris Davidson still has not replied and given advise to my question after 6 emails! Very dissatisfied with the communication and it's impossible to get through.

Quite disappointed, I ordered a cloakroom toilet and basin unit from you and I wrote to find out the best tap to get as it's quite a small basin - the one we have keeps going into the overflow and splashing everywhere. I was recommended a certain tap by one of your advisors and it's exactly the same! So I am now sending back a tap by my own cost due to your poor advise. Very disappointing!

The products are good but the company has a poor after care service. I was disconnected after waiting for 25 minutes and then had to wait a further 30 minutes before being answered. I found this was the case also prior to ordering and couldn't get through to speak to a customer adviser.

Ordered a plastic bath panel and end panel, came as arranged but packing was ridiculous, it arrived on a pallet, and was encased in an wooden structure, the driver said he had to leave it as it was, he wasn’t allowed to remove packaging, and had to leave it all to me, what on earth am i supposed to do with all wooden lats and pallet, i could lift both the panel and end with one hand they were that light, I really feel the packaging was OTT

Overall the product quality seems good, but compared to some competitors the delivery options weren't great. Without paying more we couldn't choose date/time of delivery, also the delivery was just left outside (again could have paid extra to get it delivered inside the house, but other companies offer this at no extra cost). Also some of the packaging was marked/damaged so unsure of how the delivery was handled whilst in transit.

I was torn between rating, as acceptable and good but what finally influenced my rating was that when the package arrived, the box was damaged (looked like it could have been a return repackaged) and some parts were loose and i wasn't sure if there were any parts missing. When the plumber came to install, all parts were accounted for, but the uncertainty was unnerving. The website itself was quite easy to navigate and the live chat was very good and staff were helpful and polite.

The range of products and prices are very good but your customer service needs improving. Most of my live chats conversations were helpful but I've had to pay to return some items after your advisor couldn't answer a question and referred me to my builder; by which time my order had been dispatched. I've also waited over a week for a reply to an email querying the delivery company who only sent one person to deliver our bathroom.

I ordered £1000 worth of goods and chose the 'Diamond delivery service'. What a joke that turned out to be. The delivery company subcontracted to do this, DX, were diabolical. Two drivers turned up looking like extras for a documentary on homelessness then the older one started the whole teeth-sucking routine, saying it wasn't their job to deliver the products to an upstairs room (it was), that they didn't work for Victorian Plumbing (they're subcontracted, so they do) and that it was dangerous taking heavy items up stairs. This driver managed to intimidate my wife and make her feel really uncomfortable. VP promote this service as having 'expertly trained' delivery people. Nonsense, they just subcontract to the lowest bidder and everyone knows if you pay peanuts.... Best thing VP can do is to ditch DX and contract a service company that understands the value of providing an actual service.

We are happy with the products we received from Victorian plumbing but you were let down by the delivery company used to deliver my products could do with some serious customer service training! The contact about delivery was not good either, I was having a fully bathroom delivered and had no idea of when it was coming? I tried tracking it but said it was at the depot for a week. We got a phone call from the delivery driver Wednesday 23rd January at 10.15am to say it will be delivered in 30 minutes, due to me being at work I arranged for my sister to go up to the house. The delivery did not arrive till 11.30am. The delivery and contact about delivery could be a lot better especially when I have spent over £1000 if I wasn’t available for the delivery last minute what would have happened?

Just another plumbing company. No different to others online, always want to charge for delivery if wanted certain time or day. Which is a con.

Item received was of a significantly lower quality than suggested by the listing and presumably enhanced photographs. Metal parts of radiator valves were fine, but the “wood effect” handle has a very cheap and plastic look in real life - and is a dramatically different colour than is pictured online.

Product fine however the delivery service that spoke to me to arrange delivery were extremely rude to me. I was really shocked and this has made me now want to purchase any more products with Victoria plumbing because of this. This needs looking into and how they speak, interact and deal with people on the phone.

The item arrived quicker than I had hoped. It has been reduced in price but I object to the charges to call. The order line should be on a freefone number. Also I have to call youreceive a rebate. That should be automatic on your part.
