About Urban Cooling:

At Urban Cooling, we have been installing all types of air conditioning solutions into residential, commercial, retail and leisure premises for over 20 years.

We specialise in providing air conditioning to buildings which otherwise cannot have it. With our solutions, buildings such as apartments and listed buildings can have the same standard of air conditioning as conventional systems provide, without the need for an external unit.

Operating within the M25, we undertake installations across all London postcodes.

The engineer was very professional, friendly, and thorough. The only issue was that we have had this Appt booked 3 or 4 times, it got cancelled again and again - often at short notice. As my wife and I had rearranged work commitments to be in the flat for the Appt, and I had to shift a large amount of stuff away from the condenser every time the Appt was set up these cancellations were really frustrating. So, poor organisation prior to the service, but the service itself was a positive experience

We found Urban Cooling to very professional on both the installation and sevicing . The job was completed to high standards and the units provide excellent cooling which has been amazing during the summer months and in particular the heatwaves.

I have had very good experience with urban cooling so far with a good work from their install team. I initially had an issue with one of the unit but they came back and fixed it and it all worked fine all 2022 summer. I am now due for 2nd year using the system and first service so I cannot comment yet on that part of things - will do when it happens. At the moment I have an appointment booked for this coming Monday, which I am looking forward to.

5 stars for the cool air system as finally installed; it works very well, it is very good value for money, and the first annual service was done by a highly competent and thorough person. But the original installation wasn't well managed, so I can't honestly give 5 stars yet - the memory is still too fresh. There were a series of problems entirely caused by installation mistakes, and it took several visits over a month or so to get it right. I wish the installers had all been as good as the engineer who carried out the annual service.

Installation of air conditioning was good and it all works fine. The acoustic enclosure was not fitted correctly, despite me pointing it out several times. The contractors left it less than half finished thinking I wouldn’t notice so I had finish it myself.

We asked Urban Cooling to install a water-cooled air con system in the master bedroom of our Victorian terrace which is in a conservation area so would have required planning permission (likely refused) for an alternative system. We live right under the Heathrow flight path so have 4.30am wake up calls if we open the bedroom window in summer, so this was the best option available to us. We opted for the cheapest option so the unit is quite large, because the condenser unit is in the unsound-proofed loft the vibration is pretty loud in the hallway, and our energy consumption has increased during summer months but we are so pleased we installed it! It cools the room brilliantly and gives relief during those 30+ days especially. The service we received from UC was excellent as well, from the initial visit, installation, follow up, and all the coordination and comms that go with it. Highly recommend!

Good service with an innovative solution, however still needs some refinement in installation and day to day practice. Rising energy and water costs make it an expensive but ultimately necessary addition.

I recently had my air-con installed and I must say, it was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Gary, the engineer, was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had about the installation process. The installation itself was seamless and efficient. The team worked quickly and diligently to ensure that everything was installed properly and functioning as it should. They also took the time to explain the features and settings of the air-con unit, which was very helpful. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend Urban Cooling for anyone in need of a fully internal air-con unit. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and excellent customer service truly set them apart from the rest.

Very easy company to deal with answered all my questions. The installation went smoothly did everything they said they would and completed all making good after. The unit itself has been a godsend keeping my apartment cool in the hot months overall very satisfied with urban cooking.

We installed 2 units. Installation was smooth and quick. We had a leak from the condenser which they fixed promptly and efficiently and saved. This was a lifesaver in a very hot summer last year!

The servicing that was done last year only included a bit of superficies cleaning and I dont see how this will increase the life of the warranty. I expected it to include more work than just cleaning with a cloth.

We deeply regret not providing you with the level of service you deserved. We sincerely care about our clients, and we apologise for disappointing you. That engineer is no longer employed by Urban Cooling because we hold ourselves to a high standard of service and will not compromise on it. We looked over our records and noticed that we hadn't heard from you after the service, so we assumed everything was fine. We apologise for not following up with you sooner.
