Quick and easy to deal with. The appointment date was changed a few times (at UKSM's request) but to be fair, they communicated the changes politely and efficiently. The quotation letter should be clearer about what "optional" services are included. The default position should be that the customer has to "opt in" to the additional extra services and not "opt out" at the point the technician comes to test the equipment. The Technician does not automatically ask if all services are required - he simply does them, then the invoice appears. On the plus side, UKSM credited the "extras" back to us when it was pointed out that the quotation was not clear. Overall, I would recommend.

overall very good - sales team helpful and friendly. PAT tester extremely pleasant and helpful. Clearer explanation and break down on costings would be benificial to new customers.

Engineer was good and competent. Should be made apparent when providing costs that a pc for example will count as at least 4 items - monitor, base unit and 2 power leads. Everything with a removable power lead is basically at least 2 items

Surprised to pay for socket and microwave testing when the engineer did not ask about these. There are no stickers ( similar to plug leads )to indicate these have been done - perhaps this is normal

The engineer who came to perform our PAT test was very efficient. He allowed us to keep the office running smoothly , with very little disruption. However, when we received the invoice it included extras for microwave emission testing and electrical socket testing. Apparently we should have read the small print on the initial agreement and should have opted out, on the day, if tests on these items were not required. I just thought l would bring it to the attention of others to read the small print.

Very good service from the engineer... we hardly knew he was here. We were invoiced for something we didn't order but, when we pointed this our to accounts, it was immediately removed.

Paperwork at the end was i9ncorrect5. I had to ask twice for correct invoice and then no one rang back as advised to take payment. However work was efficient and timely

Left a red sticker on one piece of equipment saying not passed do not use but didn't explain why. Also, didn't test all the equipment!!

All of our engineers are trained to advise the reason for any failures to a site contact. However, if the site contact is not available they will inform someone of the fault before leaving site. In regards to the missed appliances, we do carry out a Customer Relations call where any queries such as this can be dealt with immediately.
