The equipment testing is all straightroward enough, but we need to be alert to the fact that the company seems to try and book the appointment earlier than it needs to be - before the year is up.

Was attempting to get fire extinguishers serviced/replaced. Failed to show up for the first booking. At the second booking, their Engineer gave a price to one of my employees who is not familiar with the cost of this equipment which was vastly over the market rate. They still charged an attendance fee and a service charge after this despite there being no servicing of extinguishers. Once challenged later they refused to budge on pricing despite the price for the same item being found else where nor let me return the unused items despite wanting to do it at my own cost. Poor pricing on items and anti-consumer returns policy.

We do always do our upmost to adhere to the agreed appointment date however sometimes circumstances beyond our control does mean we have to reschedule. All costs for goods purchased on the day are discussed before any equipment is placed on site and a purchase order signed for. I can see from your job sheet that the engineer did check over the equipment that was on site and deemed these "serviced but requires attention". The attendance fee is inclusive of servicing extinguishers and must be settled for the engineers attendance to site. We did agree a discount on your invoice to resolve your query and you did settle the invoice at a reduced rate.

Very happy with the tester's work on the day, however, the initial appointment was problematic. I suspect the usual communications issue ie I informed times of availability and this was not transferred to the worksheet, nor was I kept informed if it was an issue of overwhelming tests to do at prior sites.

Thank you for your comments this is much appreciated. Sorry to hear about the mis communication, unfortunately, sometimes our engineers are asked to test more appliances than originally mentioned, so this has a knock on affect. Our operations team are really busy too trying to re-arrange appointments and speak to our engineers, so sorry you were not kept informed of the times.

Engineer was very untidy (he discarded old PAT testing labels in various places around our premises and we had to go around after him picking them up and disposing of them) He also took it upon himself to report back to management about additional services that the company then approached us about. We felt that this was underhanded and would've preferred it if the engineer asked our permission to take notes on our fire extinguisher equipment and circuit boards. We thought he was here to do our PAT testing? I would have to think twice about allowing this company access to our premises again.

We use UK Safety for our PAT inspections and they have always been helpful and friendly, from the engineer that arrives, who is always polite to the office when we call them. Would recommend them.

I have used this company before when they were satisfactory. This time I have not been satisfied. The first arranged visit was cancelled at short notice and subsequently arranged at a later date. During the visit an electric radiator was found to be hanging off the wall after a tested sticker had been attached to it. No one else had been in the building other than the UKSM operative. I complained with photos but appear to have been ignored. I won't be using again.

Have used the for PAT testing for a few years, they offer a reliable and cost effective service, this year i've also had them do the Fire Extinguishgers.. they are prompt, communication is good, payment process nice and simple. takes the hassle out of such things.. keep doing what you are..

Great prompt service. Happy with the testing carried out without any fuss. Lovely lady Michelle called afterwards to take payment and send invoice/receipt and report plus certificate - all when she said she would. Thank you
