Don't use this insurance as it does not pay out. During covid you couldn't see a dentist, and according to them if you haven't seen a dentist before they won't pay out on this insurance. A SCAM REALLY.

I have had dental plan policies in the past but this one is not as straight forward. I have been rejected twice to claim on the policy for one reason or another so I have decided to cancel

Never easy always always an issue. You have to jump through hoops to get your money back. A receipt you get is not enough evidence! Your receipt has to have your name on it WTF

On submitting 2 separate claims in one envelope I received a very badly worded email stating you did not have my bank details and the invoice did not have certain details completed. When I rang to discuss the matter I was at first informed the email was not one of yours and must be a scam! On further investigation I was advised my account number had been incorrectly scanned on one of the forms resulting in a new account being set up which would have to be cancelled and details transferred to my existing account. Your adviser was extremely offhand and seemed uninterested. I am very disappointed with the "service" I received.

I have been a customer for a long time now but the woman dealing with my claim seemed to not have a clue. I spoke on the phone with her to make sure everything I sent was correct and yet payment made to me was wrong again and she was asking for documents I have never needed to send before, even the dental practice said ‘why is she asking for these’. Weeks later still not received correct amount so think it’s time I left uk healthcare. Was so much easier and faster with claims before. Also her attitude was not great when I pointed out she had actually overpaid me an amount on a claim that was not even on the receipt.

I never hear when the insurance policy begins or ends although you are happy to take the direct debit.

Asked for unnecessary additional info that was not required. I went for private care thinking it would be quicker. PLEASE CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION AS I NO LONGER WISH TO PROCEED.

They are the worst dental insurance company I’ve ever encountered. They don’t explain the hoops you have to jump through to get your first claim paid. My first claim has so far taken 2 weeks and still isn’t sorted. I sent all the proof required to my initial contact only to be told after chasing that they’re off on long term sick. I have to go through it all again. I won’t be renewing my policy.

My 83 year old wife has had two spinal decompression operations. A doctors referral letter stating the she will need periodic Reflexology treatment to help with the pain. The referral letter also stated that her condition will only deteriorate as she gets older. Because the referral letter is dated 2014, Uk healthcare are now saying that Referral letters must be renewed every two years. This means she will have to pay a doctor to re write the same letter. This is just not acceptable.

I would like to thank the Customer Service Advisor for his efficient and prompt responses to emails when a recent dental claim was pended for further information and will shortly be processed.

Extremely poor experienced! Easy to set up a police but rather difficult to claim. Without doing any investigation Craig Matthews advised that my first claim is not covered. Despite never contacting the dentist for any information. Made subsequent calls to be shouted at and spoken down to by numerous male staff! This company so far have charged more than my claim cost of £65 but it had been a nightmare thus far. Extremely distressing and disappointed in the service received.

After paying the dental insurance for more than an year, I claimed £45 for a visit to the dentist including the check and xray and I was told I don’t get payed for that. I’m in NI and don’t get NHS. So I will cancel the insurance and go for a plan with my dentist. They asked me. i said no as I have a plan. So I payed in full.

Poor cover compared to previous providers and customer service weren't very helpful, they didn't actually tell me that they had closed my account for example.

Disorganised, incompetent and unreliable. Claims are declined as standard process and then there is a lengthy procedure to convince them that a health practitioner is indeed registered. Not worth the money / effort. Operating on the principle that you will end up paying more / receive less benefits.

My plan is with Smile Assured. Each time I have had to submit a claim online the system doesn't recognise my membership number. You have the option to carry on with the claim but they never process it. They tell me they haven't received it. This system is very flawed and not the easiest to navigate. Smile Assured always point me in the direction of www.hospitalsaturday.co.uk to question why the claim isn't acknowledge and to resubmit. It really isn't as simple as they tell you when you are purchasing the plan. When I complained they told me to leave feedback here. However I'll be posting on Trustpilot too.

I was not happy at the way my treatment was handled explaining that I will not be receiving a refund for £70 worth of X-rays and routine check because my dentist is NHS and Private but I only have cover for NHS

My daughter and I went to get eyes tested for annual two year check and glasses (02.09.2022). Apparently it was 3 days before my daughters eyes had actually been tested two years previously (05.09.2020) - despite the previous two year test having being a week earlier (27.08.2018). My claim was paid and my daughters refused!!! Had telephoned in August to check on our last tests and told 01.09.2020. Very unfair process.
