“Ordered on Monday. Nothing had turned up by Thursday. Company totally unable to give a delivery date (note small print says next day delivery except anything over 1.5m so that promise is effectively meaningless) so no option but to cancel. Which, to be fair, the company did - but why use such useless carriers?”

I'm sorry that you felt let down on this occassion but products like those you ordered can not be sent by a flexible and responsive domestic courier. Long lengths, like those 5m (16') long products, have to be sent on specialist long commercial wagons, who often only provide a day range of expected delivery. Especially when travelling to more remote postcodes like TQ region. We are looking at ways of keeping you more informed.
