Ordered urgent Marshall guttering ends for a conservatory last Wednesday and paid extra for next-day delivery. They've taken the money. It's now Tuesday the following week, they have not contacted me with an apology or even bothered to reply to my email. ParcelFarce have advised it might arrive tomorrow. This is Truly Pathetic service.

I bought a Yale 3-star euro lock in February and it failed in June. Had to have a locksmith get us in. Truly do not honer warranties, you have to take it up with the manufacturer. Truly only wanted to repair or replace if they agree on return at my expense. They weren’t prepared to take what the locksmith said on his invoice that the lock was broken. Yale have replaced the lock and my costs. I would not recommend this company to anyone; you will have to be desperate.

Awful service. This company took the money from my bank and never sent me my product and when I questioned them they refused to help me, said there was nothing they could do and were quite rude.

Please do not give this company 1 single penny of your hard earned money, There rude, unprofessional and have a policy of (you touch it you but it) when it comes to returns, shop around theres much cheaper suppliers who know how to deal with customers. These will rip you off.

I ordered some skirting board and corner pieces from this company. What turned up bore little resemblance to what was advertised on their site. The foil was very poorly stuck to the board, lifting and creased 3 or 4cms in from each end. There were a lot of small bits, of i assume plastic, that had not been cleaned off before the foil was put on, leaving unsightly bumps along the whole 5m length. The corner pieces were in an undamaged cardboard tube but one was broken into 4 bits. Considering the outer tube was undamaged, the only possible way this could have happening was that the broken pieces were put into the tube at Truly PVC. So i complained and received a staggeringly ridiculous email from Luke. First he refuted that the corner piece was not sent out broken (even though he couldn't explain how 1 piece of 6 items managed to break inside of an undamaged outer cardboard tube), then he really went all out on the "i bet i can send the most laughingly, moronic email out" competition. Which, by reading some other reviews, they have this competition going constantly. Here is a copy and paste of part of his reply "Given this is a building material, there should always be a small acceptable tolerance of damage". So, any would be customers thinking of using this disgrace of a company you need to be aware that Truly PVC think that damage to their goods is acceptable. Or rather, they think that customers should have to accept damage to their goods. What a "small acceptable tolerance of damage" actually means would depend on how much damage there is to your order. i.e. any amount of damage is within this companies parameters. So i opened a dispute with PayPal. PayPal refunded me and, what a surprise, these boards were obviously so damaged even in trulys eyes, that they didn't even want them back. So, Truly wasted their time and a lot of money by thinking they were being clever. Turns out, Truly and Luke are not as clever as they think they are.

Hello! I apologise for any confusion. We did indeed provide South West Turbos with SDS drill bits last month. We processed the order (via eBay) within a day, so hopefully Terry was happy with the delivery, as well as the product and price and may consider revising the feedback. Again, sorry if the review invitation you off guard. Kind regards, Cliff

I am sorry to hear that. Our weather slates are only one size 450mm x 450mm but are available in two pitch options. I see that you ordered the 0-20° pitch weather slate. We would happily exchange if we sent the 20-40° pitch in error and as our Returns Policy, we do offer a refund if you are not happy with the product for any reason.

All but the highest rated Eurolocks are appallingly underdesigned but they are being fitted up and down the country by double glazing and door companies. Burglars can bump them in a couple of seconds or snap them in around 15 seconds (see internet videos). According to British Standards TS007 1 star rated locks are not rated as anti-snap whereas 3 star rated locks are. Truly PVC claim on their website that TS007 1 star rated Eurolocks are anti-snap. If this is correct why are there 3 star rated locks? This error means that customers are being lulled into a false sense of security, wasting their money and are still at high risk of burglary

We sell a range of euro cylinder locks, which offer different levels of security, in order that we can satisfy individual requirements. Not all customers require 3* security, nor do all budgets allow the purchase of 3* security. We do sell two 1* cylinders, one of which offers lock snapping protection, the other does not purport to and neither is it claimed in any of our product listings. The Yale Superior 1* euro cylinder is designed with a hardened steel bar and sacrificial cuts to offer protection of the integrity of the cam during a snapping attempt. Our listing states that the cylinder protects against snapping, which is does. Our listing does not claim to be 3* nor an 'Anti-Snap' cylinder, so there is no misinterpretation. Please note that a cylinder being termed Anti-Snap does not mean that it won’t snap under such an attack, it means that it can sustain such an attack for a predetermined period. Without wishing to cause undue alarm, you will likely find videos showing the snapping of even 3* cylinders. If you are unhappy with any of our products, please do get in touch. We do offer a 30 day returns policy. I would be interested to hear more about what you believe is appalling under-design from Yale, the world’s largest and most respected lock manufacturer.

2 missing pieces in delivery. Due to builder availability the packaging was not removed till the 27th Nov [34days after delivery]. Informed that “30 days is ample time to check received goods, Regrettably we cannot amend our position” . Company not taking ownership that they sent out an incomplete order and are being rigid & inflexible with their 30 day policy despite explaining that the delay with the builder was outside of our control. Have asked us to pay again for the 2 missing items.

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with this decision. As well as providing our customers with an extremely generous 30 days returns policy (16 days more than the regulatory returns policy), we also must protect ourselves. A lot can happen to a shipment when left unattended for a period of time, including damage and loss, which is not the fault of the seller. I recommend to all that they check goods when they take delivery or soon after. Remember that not all sellers provide a long return policy like us and some don't offer returns at all on bespoke items, such as glazing bar lengths. Please don't think you have to pay again for the items that have gone missing, a payment is only required if you would like to buy new replacements.

I am sorry to hear that at the time of you writing this review, you were not in receipt of your product. I can see that you ordered on 31st July and we processed and despatched the order on the same day. Email confirmation of despatch would have been sent on the same day and have included the Royal Mail tracking number for your consignment. I have tracked the consignment and it was recoded as delivered only 2 days later, on 2nd August. I cannot see any related order notes that suggest you notified us of a failed delivery. We can only resolve problems if we are made aware of them, so I encourage all to always contact the seller, as they will want to help.

Ordered a lock on Sunday 29th of October, received feed back saying order had been dispatched and I should receive it Tuesday 31st Now 1st of Nov and still not received. Paid £1 extra for Royal Mail first class, talking to Postman its not due to be delivered today. Wasted 2 days waiting for this to be delivered.

I'm sorry to hear that at the time of writing, you were not satisfied with the service offered. When you ordered on a Sunday and chose Royal Mail 1st Class, eBay displayed a delivery estimation, which is dependent on the day/time of purchase and service chosen. eBay gave an estimated delivery of 31st October - 2nd November. It provides this estimation as Royal Mail 1st Class is regarded a non-guaranteed 1-3 day service. I can confirm that your package was collected the next day by Royal Mail. I trust the package, which would fit through a letterbox, arrived within this estimation. Kind regards, Cliff

Ordered on Monday. Nothing had turned up by Thursday. Company totally unable to give a delivery date (note small print says next day delivery except anything over 1.5m so that promise is effectively meaningless) so no option but to cancel. Which, to be fair, the company did - but why use such useless carriers?

I'm sorry that you felt let down on this occassion but products like those you ordered can not be sent by a flexible and responsive domestic courier. Long lengths, like those 5m (16') long products, have to be sent on specialist long commercial wagons, who often only provide a day range of expected delivery. Especially when travelling to more remote postcodes like TQ region. We are looking at ways of keeping you more informed.
