Extremely poor cancellation. Due to circumstances out of my control I was forced to cancel several days before but was told I could not have any form of refund at all. Over £200 wasted on two nights I couldn’t use.

Very disappointed, room dated,carpet dirty,stains all over ,no soap in bathroom no hair dryer or spoons to use to make tea or coffee,not been cleaned properly as tissue and bits on bathroom floor.used Travelodge a lot always been happy but not this time

I struggle with numbers and dates. I accidentally booked Monday night instead of Sunday night. I've been charged £10 extra changing fees and no refund because Sunday night is much cheaper. Quite disappointed and don't know what to do. I suffer with clinical anxiety and its upset me. Sorry

During the booking after taken money they changed date check in and out very disappointing and still waiting for my refund which they haven't done

It took several hours for the payment page to download with my screen showing a star symbol turning repetitively for this length of time.

Nice place but very disappointed to have to change rooms late last night. My room on return had a terrible smell of smoke from someone smoking in one of the rooms.

Tried to book online. Got stuck waiting for secure payment. Phoned you and got charged by your premium number very bad as I had no warning. Your staff member couldn't get the payment system to work. Tried the next day to no avail. Had to download your app and book on my phone finally. So very unhappy over the whole experience. It didn't used to be like this when I used you in the past.

I booked one room three nights Got email of One confirmation number But the receptionist told me there are two confirmation numbers So I am charged twice for one booking. I complain to get refund for one of the booking.

Using the London City Airport Travelodge as semi-permanent housing for residents from a social services needs background will in the long term seriously impact your image, I for example will be telling our (international) company travel section to avoid this hotel for that very reason. I have had very pleasant stays in other lodged throughout the UK over the past few decades and this was by far the worst I have experienced.

You're booking progress is not at all good. If you make a mistake or you need to look up any information on extras like food ect you have to start your booking all over again.

Immediately contacted them after booking the wrong date and had to pay £10 to change it, or lose the money altogether as there was no option of a refund. Just seen the question below 'how easy was it to get a refund' - YOU CAN'T GET ONE so I will probably not use travelodge in the future.

Learnt my lesson the hard way when had to cancel a booking due to a last minute change of circumstances. Absolutely no flexibility or understanding from the helpline and will not use Travelodge again in future. Shame to lose a previously loyal customer.

We priced up a hotel having tried 4 times to get into your site as it kept asking again and going into yet another window. When we had the price, we spoke to our friends and then returned to the site and found similar problems as before and to our disgust the price had increased from £49 to £57 which I cannot believe is due to number of bookings within minutes....

I’m sure that my stay here will be exactly what I’m paying for and expect. Booking it via the app however, was a nightmare. Online through the normal website, it kept seizing, so I went to the app. Managed to book it okay but then any notifications I received regarding my booking implied that I had both booked one room and two rooms. My bill told me that my total paid was for one room despite in an earlier line referring to the fee paid for two rooms. When I then checked on the app, it told me I had no bookings at all. Trying to ring your helpline at 10 pm involved a very long wait, so I soon gave up. Thankfully, I managed to contact the hotel direct who confirmed two rooms had been booked and they apologised, admitting there have been problems in the past with similar. A frustrating and slightly angering 90 minutes until I rang them direct, and they could not be more helpful.
