Dirty, worn and poorly maintained. There were biscuit crumbs and white stains next to the bed, black dust over the walls, no spoons to stir the drinks, a broken shampoo dispenser and watered down soap. Possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed it.

Website is really not good as regards booking. It takes forever to go onto the payment options and then won't let you pay by debit card (only with Applepay). I don't want to pay with Applepay!!!!

Very bad!!!!!! You are asking for the creditcardname....exactly! On my card "H.W. ORDING" but you did not accept! You acceptered "HW ORDING". Costed me an arm and a leg to figure out what went wrong. But you will have a second charnge, I will be back again on the 7th of august.

The App is so bad that after 4 attempts to book we had to use the website. Even then the payment procedure failed twice

not great - beds weren't made on arrival. not enough towels, only 2 mains sockets, no hair dryer or fridge TV was small and limited on channels Room light controls not as good as hub rooms. no car park but one down by ferry charges £5 per 24 hours. paid far too much for what we got on the plus side their is a Weatherspoons underneath for breakfast / dining.

Extremely poor , through no fault of my own due to my trip being cancelled It has cost me £62.99 to go nowhere. That's very unfair and poor

We needed parking at the hotel, when we tried to book it there was various issues with connections to the parking app, this resulted in almost 90 minutes of our visit wasted trying to ensure we had no issues when leaving the car park. The staff in the hotel advised us it was nothing to do with them and we'd have to sort it ourselves. This was made worse with them not only not helping but they found our frustration something to laugh about. In the morning we decided to have breakfast, when we tried to pay for it we handed over 20 pounds and were simply told there wasn't any change available as the night shift hadn't left any. A bit of a con as the night shift told us the same thing the previous evening at the bar. Seems a good scam if people are gullible enough to accept paying over the amount requested because the hotel doesn't have any change. Definitely wouldn't use Kendal again.

The guests above we nosy stamping on floor kids running up & down 9-10.45 & again from 6am -7.30 which made us leave early and complain to reception on way out

Always look forward to staying at the Aigburth Travelodge with our dog, going for a long walk then having a lovely meal in the Turkish restaurant.

Terrible, dirty room. Made a booking, I had put the date wrong which is my mistake I then had to pay £50 pound to change a date which is ridiculous

Unable to contact you by telephone. You took money of me without my consent. I cannot get a decent reply from you regarding past bookings. When I go onto your site to book a room, I cannot get off your site unless I turn my phone/tablet off. Why???

Travelodge is fine but the app is rubbish, every time I log in I have to reset my password and even though I know that I am using the correct password I have to reset it again. I even set up a business account and that is the same, so can someone please look at the login? There must be a fault somewhere.

My booking was cancelled last minute, and by last minute I mean while I was standing at the check-in desk! I went left stranded in the middle of the night with no assistance from the hotel. I have contacted customer service to resolve my complaint, but so far I have had no luck

This is a review of the booking process not the hotel. Booking the hotel was stressful. The website was clunky and non-responsive at times and crashed a couple of times. Nearly gave up. Nothing against the hotel or chain just the booking portal.

Was expecting a workers hotel. What I got was a group of long stay council residents. A group of drunk men riding the lift. And a bathroom that wasn’t spotlessly clean.

Sorry but booking was a terrible experience. Web pages so slow loading up and when it came to the payment page it would not load on an android tablet. Eventually had to use an iPad to book. Even that wasn’t plain sailing. Even though I selected visa option it was forcing me to use Apple Pay. After around 40 minutes I was able to book our accommodation. Booking pages need looked at and resolved.

Barely slep the mattress was so uncomfortable, lumpy and low! My back was killing by morning and I did not feel refreshed just tired and groggy
