I raised a complaint in regards to the accessible room on 12/08/23. I was advised by the reception on checkout that 50% e-voucher would be requested due to issues with our room within the next two weeks. So far there has been no contact and I was told that if nobody has emailed me call the hotel which has been impossible to reach. The following issues at the room were the following. 1. We booked a double accessible room, I have a spine injury. On arrival the bed looked fine and put together, however, when we went to bed they were not locked together, so if one of us moved you would fall in the gap and be wedged in the mattresses as they are single beds put together. When I raised the issue at check also explaining I have a spinal injury the receptionist told us we were expected to put the beds together. I have previously stayed at the same Travelodge and this was not the case. How can Travelodge expect disabled customers to fix the beds together. It was not a good night's sleep and we left as soon as we could in the morning. I was also found it disgraceful that the reception on checkout blamed the check in staff for not telling us about the bed. It's concerning that there is an option for either a double or single on booking and then being told you have to put the beds together, lock them in if you are disabled. The second issue was the blocked sink an stench coming from the bathroom, as we went out this was noticed until the middle of the night as we went out after dropping of our luggage and the lingering sewage smell was throughout the room. I had to buy my own toilet cleaner and detol to clean what I would describe as a room below standard and should be taken out of service. The checking in staff were extremely helpful and friendly and that's the only reason for 1 star

Big issue with check in, we had booked a twin room as a queen/king and pull out single, but on check in were told this room doesn't exist. We were lied to being told there were no family rooms available and 8t would cost us an extre £10, yet online family rooms could be booked for only £3 more than we had paid. In the end they reluctantly gave us a family room at no extra cost but the entire check in took an hour to sort. The travellodge was conveniently located, and parking opposite on the Salinsbury car park paying online is vey convenient and reasonable £7 for 24 hours.

We stayed at the York central micklegate Travelodge. We were put in a room right near to where everyone has breakfast so it was very noisy. We realised this just after booking in and we asked at reception to be moved to another room but was told by the receptionist that there were non available but to ask again the day after. But by then we would have unpacked so would of had to pack up to be told again that there was no other room available. Also the receptionist was eating a pizza at the front desk with 2 colleagues while the receptionist was checking to see if there was another room available for us to move too. and I also heard another member of staff ask which room they were sleeping in tonight. So the staff member was allocated a room but there wasn’t a different room for me and my husband to stay in. I felt like the receptionist couldn’t be bothered with my complaint and just dismissed me just so she could carry on eating the pizza. I felt like this was very unprofessional as well. It puts us off staying there again. We have stayed at quite a few travelodges over the years and have never known the breakfast room to be on another floor other than the reception floor. This should of been stated at the time of booking that the room is near the breakfast room so will be noisy in the mornings. If this was stated at the time of booking we wouldn’t of bothered booking 2 nights there for my birthday. It was very noisy and we got woken up early by the noise when we were trying to enjoy having a lie in. We were very disappointed by your hotel and customer service at the reception too. It doesn’t give us much hope if we stay with another travelodge again in the future.

It was OK in places booked super room which cost so much more I'd like to know what you are supposed to get for a superoom. Firstly no tv remote had to go to desk for a remote which means when it was cleaned it wasn't checked no tumblers in bathroom as is normal only noticed that now getting up 5:30am only 2 wine glasses? Booked in with my domestic pet which I paid extra for what did I get for that extra nothing? Would I ever book a superoom No can't see the point

I have stayed in serveral l travel lodges over the years and some better than others, Sadly the Travelodge M6 Carlisle was the most disgusting I have ever been in, The first room l was in the carpets were disgusting and when l went to reception to ask for a plug, sadly they couldn't provide me with one, so l was offered another room, l will say the carpet in the second room was better, the whole building is in a poor state, also the smell inside and outside I'd discusting, This is no doubt a busy travellodge and for the cost l paid for one night £119 for me and one dog it really needs updating, l will never stay in it again

I prebooked breakfast, nobody told me that the breakfast room and dining area were undergoing major modification and would not be available. I was told there would be an email confirming that a refund would be given there was no email I phoned Filton and was given a service number to dial, this service number couldn't do anything but tried to phone reception and were unable to get through. I want my money back for the breakfast I never had

I stayed at your Slough Travelodge from 27th July 2023 until Saturday 29th July. Upon leaving as I always do I stripped the beds in advance for the cleaners. I wish I had not!!! I was almost sick. To think I had actually paid money to sleep on that bed and step barefoot on that carpet has left me feeling extremely upset. To add to this I sensitively and discreetly informed the staff at the desk who gave me the email address to email my complaint. This complaint was acknowledged and then has been ignored with no outcome whatsoever. I travel very frequently and 9 times out of 10 always choose to stay with you. I am sorry to have to leave this feedback, but due to NOT having a resolution I have no choice. I do not want to have to do further public reviews. I cannot believe the lack of response to such a serious complaint. I have 3 images that I don't want others to have to see, so PLEASE can I be acknowledged and have this matter resolved? the booking came through at the wrong Ipswich Travel Lodge. I needed to be at Ipswich Central as its a friends wedding, so staying with the other wedding guests! I immediately called to explain, and told call center could not change booking & had to send enquiry or chat via live messenger (never available). Recieved email back basically saying 'hard luck' we wont change it! What????? This is for a wedding, and the correct hotel is actually cheaper than the one I have booked so should be simple transfer! I will be going to social media to show people how utterly terrible this company is!

She gave me a room with no window I told her I got a lung condition so she moved me into a mold damp room when I advised her of this she made me wait 30 min in the room them said won't move me because something was moved that was totally minor and I think her attitude was unprofessional and hostile . You need a better manager the. These unfair disingenuous managers. This was in Harrow. Worst person I've ever dealt with in the Travelodge most the people are fair

Booking was easy as usual, however the app and website are not working, so when I went back to modify the booking was not recognised by either.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Travelodge based in Ancoates, Manchester. The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. The bedding was absolutely fine but the carpet looked like it had never seen a hoover, it was covered in hairs! The bathroom floor looked like it needed a good scrub, there was what looked like faeces smeared above the toilet roll along with dried vomit or faeces on the back of the door and tiles. When you are paying over £100 for one night you expect it to be spotless, I would be a bit hard pushed to stay here again.

This was the worst Travelodge I have ever stayed in. The basic facilities and amenities were terrible. The room did not have any air conditioning. It was a warm night so had to have the window open - it looked out onto the back of peoples houses and a busy road the other side ensured a very noisy night of no sleep. Also the guests from hell were staying and there was no one patrolling the corridors so at 3pm there was screaming and door slamming and gunning around the corridors - again ensuring no sleep. A bath towel and hand towel were all that was provided in the bathroom - a floor towel was not considered essential. Awful. The bed wasn’t comfortable not the worst I’ve ever laid on but uncomfortable all the same. It was over £200 for 3 nights stay so not even that cheap. This Travelodge needs money being spent on it. The staff did their best to field my comments in a positive way but I could tell this is not the first time they’ve heard it all. This is not a place for a lone female to stay as I felt unsafe.

I am extremely unhappy about this booking as when I booked the room the price was £115.59 for 3 adults and 1 child, however on my bank statement it shows £144.09 has been taken from my account. This was not the price shown when booing and will be speaking at the Travelodge about this upon our arrival to hopefully get refunded the difference. Not happy at all
