The course was thorough and the trainer was very adept in his role. An easy to understand intro/reintroduction to the usage of First Aid.

The teacher was very good. I did a first aid training course 3 years ago with a different company, and this one was a lot better. Everything was explained very well, and the practical's made me feel more confident about having to do first aid in real life. Thank you

Covered all the topics and small group meant we got it all done without any waiting and watching others. Friendly tutor and venue was fine. Would use again.

I learnt a lot in a short period of time. There is obviously so much more to learn but Billy kept it relevant, entertaining and interesting. Thank you

I thought the course (Award in Education and Training) was very interesting, motivational and inspiring. The course leader Tom was very knowledgeable and was always happy to help. Can recommend the company.

The L3 in Education and Training course was well organised and run in a very relaxing manner. Excellent textbook and guidance to complete the assignments with great support for the micro-teach. Highly recommended for anyone in a training role who wants National recognition or as a step to a teaching qualification.

I found working with Train Aid informative and fun. Our Trainer was engaging, highly supportive and adaptable so that he could incorporate individual learning styles. Most importantly I learnt far more than I expected. While the information was challenging it was not overwhelming a great combination. I would highly recommend Train Aid in fact I have already raved about it with friends and colleagues. An excellent three days. Thank you.

Excellent course, Tutor Tom was very knowledgeable and guided everyone through the lessons with loads of good advice. 3 day course more than enough time to take it all in and good communication before and after course. Will definitely be using TrainAid for further courses!

The course was well structured and had different tasks to break up the learning process plus you had plenty of time to start the assignments, I actually managed to complete all of mine in the three day period so it was much better for me than studying at a college for 12 weeks due to my busy schedule. I would definitely recommend train aid for this course as they made it simple to learn and also the feedback from the micro teach was very in depth which allows you to develop your skills. I would recommend instead of an e-learning program as you get to interact with people from different walks of life and it is really helpful doing the microteach to a group as that is part of becoming a trainer/teacher. The group was small, only four people, so you get a good level of individual support too.

What a refreshing approach to training! Trainers were lovely, kind, helpful and patient. Offered up a lot of time and experience to us all. Really took the time to make sure we were confident in the work that we would need to do ourselves too. Genuinely made to feel comfortable and confident throughout the course. Thank you!

Tom ran the course over 3 days and it was pretty full on ,with the content being applied to the units that we were going to have to write about in order to complete level 3 award. We discovered that not all education training is straightforward . It would appear that Train aid is what is says on the tin, they help you learn correctly and understand it. We all did our micro-teaching for 15 minutes and was given guidance as to its preparation. Everyone did something different and it was good, especially the practical ones. I have just completed the Units and sent them to Tom. Not sure if they will be okay, but hopefully I will be supported to finish them. Good training ,be prepared to work hard and after to finish the Units, but the learning will be worth it. I perhaps would have liked a little pre-reading Teaching Cycle and the micro-teaching basics.

The training itself was good. Steve did well to cover the material in two days. He kept us all engaged with the teaching by mixing up the teaching styles - question and answers, small group discussions, mini-presentations to the rest of the group. I think it would help to have a check list of what is required to complete the course at the application stage and at the start of the course. Maybe this was covered but there was so much info to take in that I know I wasn't clear that we needed to do 3 assignments until the second day (I thought there were just 2). You didn't do very well in signposting where the training was being held. I arrived at the venue and walked around for a few minutes trying to work out how to get in. You needed to have a sign outside at least so we knew where to go. I think some tea & coffee in the training room (plus some biscuits maybe) at the start would have been good too as it would have made the atmosphere more welcoming. I personally wouldn't use those rooms for training. They are too long and narrow which was not great for interaction. The room we used the first day was too cold and the door buzzer went off occasionally, so it wasn't easy to concentrate.

The course was delivered at a good understandable pace. The trainer was very helpful and enthusiatic. He was willing to provide additional support to those who needed it while being able to keep the rest of us engaged throughout the course.
