“I recently completed the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching with Train Aid, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to develop their teaching practice and achieve a recognised teaching qualification. Throughout the programme, the support provided by the tutor Vicky and others was outstanding. They were knowledgeable, approachable, and always available to provide constructive feedback and guidance when needed. The course materials were clear, well-structured, and enabled me to develop both my theoretical understanding and practical teaching skills. As a professional also a volunteer working within a specialist role in my local community, I found the qualification highly relevant to delivery practice of adventure training subjects along with supporting young person to develop their life skills through adventure activities. The course encouraged reflective learning, improved my confidence in lesson planning, assessment, and learner engagement, and helped me develop a deeper understanding of inclusive teaching approaches and meeting diverse learner needs. It opened opportunities to exploring digital technology usage for each of my subject matter expertise. The flexibility of the programme allowed me to balance my studies alongside full-time employment, while the assessment process was straightforward and professionally managed. The continuous feedback I received from my personal tutor was detailed, supportive, and helped me continually improve throughout the qualification. My personal face to face teaching observations were very supportive which provided invaluable feedback during and after each session. Overall, my experience with Train Aid was extremely positive. The quality of tuition, learner support, communication and material provided exceeded my expectations given the course was online which at first was a concern but soon overcome within the first month. I have completed the qualification feeling more confident, knowledgeable, and effective as an educator and to continue to put into practice what I have covered over the duration period.”

“The course material was well presented in the short videos and the process for the submission of assignments and paperwork was made very clear. The assessment feedback (or turnaround time) was well within the period they promised. Sometimes this feedback came back within a day or two. They made it much easier to do this at my own pace and time, and never put pressure on me. Whenever I required advice, they were quick to respond and provide it. They made this a much more pleasant experience than I know it could have been.”

“I found the trainer 'Martyn' extremely knowledgeable and engaging. There was a wide range of experience and knowledge in the class and he navigated this really well. I thought I just needed the certificate to show competency as I have been an internal trainer for years. I was suprised how much I actually did learn in an supportive and nurturing environment.”

“Nick was our trainer for CET Level 4 and I work in Law Enforcement. The course was held at our internal training facility and as an experienced trainer, my thoughts on Nick is that he is a highly knowledgeable and professional trainer who made the students feel welcome, comfortable and we learnt at a very good pace. Nick is engaging and thoughtful but ensured that the group submitted assignments in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Nick as a trainer to any private or public institution. I would also highly recommend TRAINAID as a company to provide training. I have completed both online and classroom based training. and the team are very supportive and responsive.”

“I undertook the Level 4 award in Internal Quality Assurance, having previously undertaken the Level 3 award in Teaching. Nick Chadwick was the trainer who was excellent - very engaging and brought the very practical material to life. Lots of time was allocated to complete the qualification and there was plenty of support available. Feedback was provided for any work submitted promptly and the qualified IQA (Vicky) was very friendly and made myself and my assessor feel at ease.”

“I found the first aid course the best one I’ve ever been to . The trainer Claire was very knowledgeable and helpful. I left feeling confident about CPR which has always made me feel nervous in the past . The practical part of the course was excellent.”

“I really enjoyed undertaking my Level 3 Teaching and Training Certificate with Train Aid. Martyn did a brilliant job of creating a positive and supportive atmoshere within the group of learners and by the end of the 3 days I was very sad that it was over. I had met some fantastic new people and gained some new knowledge and skills. The support that was offered to us when developing our MicroTeach was extremely helpful. I have recommended this course to my colleagues. My only suggestion for improvement is around the emphasis on Learning Styles and updating the information that is taught. The second day focussed heavily on identifying people's learning styles, however, it is my understanding that current thoughts around learning styles are that the preferred learning style is linked to the task or skill that is being learned and that there isn't any evidence that one person has one learning style. The evidence base shows that presenting information in a variety of learning style formats which are linked/appropriate to the subject matter is the most effective way of teaching. By focussing so heavily on identifying a person's learning style we could accidentally miss identifying a learning difficulty such as dyslexia.”

“Very well organised. Teacher was very attentive, engaging and supportive throughout. Units being marked had a quick turnaround and very accommodating. Venue rather cold at the beginning of sessions due to the building being old and warmed up for the afternoon, with it being end of November the temperature was low anyways but maybe something to consider moving forward. I would definitely recommend this to others.”
