I needed to do this course so I can deliver training which I have been doing for many years but clients are asking for that bit of paper now. The course was delivered in a good style and pace and I learnt a lot The trainer Lesley Earl if very knowledgeable and open she involved the whole class and we all felt we had learnt what we needed to. The venue in Islington is easy to get to clean and safe. Rob Howard

The course was very well presented by the presenter. The contents were very informative, and educational. For example; I thought setting ground rules and having Icebreaks were essential for example 1. The Icebreaker-very important as not just the physical environment is essential in encouraging and motivating learning. Starting out with Icebreaker, encourages learners to think, talk, laugh and share ideas, thus encouraging participation and encourage friendly and relaxing environments. 2. The assessment to evaluation process and stages are crucial- thus encouraging data gathering, needs to be identified, on going reflection and evaluation of whatever course of intervention/activity. The focus on structured and unstructured assessments were very good, as individuals are unique and may therefore present different learning needs, and so in order not to exclude different strategies may need to be applied in order to identify individuals' learning needs and provide support tailored to the specific needs. 3.Establishing and separating the roles of the learner and trainer and setting boundaries were essential aspects. 4. The group work sessions (preparing and presenting group presentation) encouraged individuals to respect each other and work together despite diverse racial, religious, cultural, and the list goes on backgrounds. This style of learning encouraged respect for diversity of all sorts. 5.Preparing, and demonstrating individual presentation, encouraged learning, confidence building and reflection. On a whole, the learning experience was very good. I would recommend the course.

The AET course was excellent. It made sense of a whole new subject for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.Lesley was a fantastic teacher and covered everything we needed to and more.I hope to take away some of Lesley's wonderful attributes once I start teaching. The assistance given with our assignments was really helpful and Lesley was very supportive and constantly encouraging. Nick was also great when it came to assessing our micro-teaches and offered very useful advice. The venue was very nice and easy to find.It was useful having so many facilities nearby. Much thanks to Lesley,Nick and the rest of the team.I look forward to seeing you for the next one!

I have just come back from my Paediatric first aid training, with Nick, and wanted to say how I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very informative and covered all I need to know. I came away confident in coping with all emergencies, including giving CPR. The course was delivered in a professional, but friendly and relaxed way, and in a pleasant small group. The facilities at Hamilton House were great, nice building, warm, and comfortable, with a clean and modern kitchen with great hot chocolate! Thankyou Nick!

I have been to other training before and the worst feeling is to think you learned nothing and it was just a waste of your money and time. I now Just finished my Level 3 in education and training and I could not be happier. Content was interesting, I feel I have learned a lot. Trainer was great and really supportive. Microteach lesson was fun and stimulating, I have enjoyed any bit of it. It is intense but Lesley made it interesting, easy and she definitely included all the group in it. I was also lucky as my group was really friendly and supportive. Thanks!

This course was really great. The instructor had a very good manner which made it fun and informative. The content of the day was very thorough and we were able to ask lots of questions where necessary, and gain a good practical understanding of first aid.

Was an enjoyable 3 days. I always love meeting different people on workshops and courses and was fortunate to be with 4 other fun and diverse people plus our trainer Tom, so the environment was great. For me it worked better to bash out 1 of the 3 assignments each night to get the course boxed off by the end of day 3 but equally others have a month to complete their work so there is flexibility if needed.

I believe my trainer was Mark - Guildford, 12th March - and he led the session well. Just the right mix of serious to humour, talking to practising, plus some visuals and videos thrown in too. It felt very comprehensive but not too overwhelming and was actually quite a fun day, which quite often these things aren't.

It was very refreshing to attend this course, where everyone felt relaxed enough to participate in a less formal environment. I felt that many came away with a better understanding of their responsibilities as a first aider. I have been attending 1st Aid courses for 40 years and have seen many changes over the years, and feel that you have achieved the right approach.

The first aid course was great fun. I've done many first aid courses over the years and this is the most active, up paced course - feeling like I have learnt more. Our trainer Stewart was great, he was friendly, he made everyone feel comfortable and made the learning interesting. I would recommend this course to others and hopefully will use again in the future.

Once again Train Aid provided a great service! I booked 3 places on the paediatric first aid course online, which was easy, and all the members of staff said what a positive experience the training was. Thank you Train Aid.

This was a great way of carrying out the Level 3 in Education and Training for me, being distance learning meaning I could fit it around other commitments. It was also great value, which was a bonus as it was self funded. The course materials were really helpful, and Train-Aid speedily responded to any question I had, and were very quick at marking my assignments and feeding back. The Micro-Teach day was at a centre local to me, and whilst I was the only one joining a group that had already had been together on a classroom based course over the previous few days, the day worked really well. Would definitely recommend completing this course with Train-Aid, and indeed have done to a former colleague already.

I had a very bad experience of provider of the L3 Education and Training Award before I came across Train Aid on the internet. I really pleased and enjoyed the course taught by Philip Gallie and also got a lots helps and advice from Tom Casserley. They all are very friendly and helpful . I would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

Over all I had very good experienced with a very engaging and professional instructor in Mike. He was the ideal trainer of trainers as a role model who provided fresh ideas for those of us that have been training for a long time. I have only one observation that might improve joining the course; and that is a more in-depth joining instruction to the course, especially for those travelling away to the course and might need accommodation, long term parking and other services. However the course support material was excellent, with ideal reference books, work handouts and assignments prompt sheets. Finally Tom commendably has been very quick to answer queries, and provide solutions to problems. A very good course!
