“The course ticked all of the relevant boxes, however I feel that more practical time would have been a benefit, as some areas such as bleeds and burns were rushed over without knowing what we physically should do.”

“Very informative and delivered in a fun, hands-on way. Trainer was engaging and there was a great atmosphere in the class. He was also very knowledgeable about issues and where we could access equipment. I was very impressed that I could remember lots from our last session 3 years ago”

“I found it very easy to take the Level 3 Education Award via the online course. The materials provided were good and it was clear how to proceed. But I was disappointed in the length of time I had to wait to for a suitable date for my micro-teach to become available at my preferred venue. Also, despite the micro-teach being a few months after finishing the online course, no one contacted me before the micro-teach and I had to research the venue and parking myself, which I thought was poor. Finally, I had to contact Train Aid a week after the micro-teach (which marked the end of the course for me as I'd already done the rest of the course online) to find out if I'd passed. I would have expected to be sent an e-mail before that time to let me know. It was two weeks before I received the certificate. But overall I would rate the course as good and would recommend it to others - especially with the convenience of the online course. All staff with whom I had contact were extremely helpful.”

“Having previously attended many first aid courses, I found Train Aid to be extremely helpful, organised and informative. The course was delivered by Hazel, who had a wealth of experience and knowledge, along with a friendly and approachable manor. I would definitely recommend Train Aid and will use them again in the future.”

“The trainer was excellent. She was thorough, fair, knowledgeable and patient. There was a lot to get through and there was a mix of abilities within the class members but she was very inclusive and guided people who were not always so sure of themselves in the right direction. There was a good mix of teaching styles tailored around meeting the learning needs of all present. I am currently working on the written assignments we have been given 4 weeks to complete. It would have been helpful if there could have been some guidance on the question document around the word count for the A, B, and C assignments as there are people who may be concerned about whether they have written enough or too much. Apart from that it was an excellent course that I would recommend to others.”

“I did the Level 3 in education and training I really enjoyed the course. I had not studied for a long time but found the tutor very helpful and after the course completed my assignments within a few weeks around working my full time job. I would highly recommend Train Aid and I will hopefully doing further courses with them.”

“This was a well paced, affordable course. The online element helped me to grasp the theory and allowed more time do focus on perfecting skills during the practical. Im glad there was a written assessment to check knowledge and understanding. This doesnt always happen on first aid courses.”
